Thunderbird can automatically save copies of your emails as you compose them.
- From classic view, select your email account from the left column.
- Click on on the left menu.
- In the Composition section, click the . The Composition window will open.
- Select the General tab and check the box next to Auto save every __ minutes. Enter the frequency you'd like Thunderbird to save your messages (three minutes is usually reasonable).
Your webmail settings or add-ons might also affect how often your email drafts get saved.
