Learn how to download and access files in Firefox for Android.

How to download a file

To download a file, such as a .pdf file:

  1. Tap on download link.
  2. A download confirmation will appear, this will show the file size. Tap on the Download button to confirm you want to download the file.

  1. A confirmation "Download completed" message will appear. Tap the Open button to view the file.

To download an image:

  1. Tap and hold on the image you want to download.
  2. Select Save image.
  3. A confirmation "Download completed" message will appear. Tap the Open button to view the image.

Access downloaded files

Currently, there is no way to access downloaded files through the Firefox for Android app. But all saved files will be stored on your device. Open Files on your Android device, recently downloaded files will be stored under Downloads.
