Sync allows you to sync your bookmarks, logins, browsing history, and tabs settings across different devices.

You can choose whether you want to sync your data, by turning the feature on or off. You can remove a device from Firefox Sync. This article will show you how to disable your device from syncing.

First: Navigate to the Sync Settings page

  1. 1 Click on your Account Menu Toolbar Account Menu Icon
  2. 2 In your Account Menu click on `Sync Settings` item Account Menu

Second: Disconnect Sync in the Sync Settings Page

Now that you are in your Sync Settings page, you can now turn off sync.

  1. 1 Click `Change` in the Sync Preferences page

  1. 2 Now you're able to edit your Sync Preferences, you are also able to disconnect just this device from syncing. You can do this by clicking `Disconnect...`

  1. 3 A dialog will pop up in your browser, where as a user you can confirm that you want to disconnect.


If you'd like to turn on sync you can go into the Sync Settings page, and you can click `Set Up Sync...` at the bottom.
