This article shows an upcoming version of Firefox for iOS, so yours might look different. Please update in a few weeks to get these features.

Firefox for iOS gives you the option to change your default search engine. Here's how to do it:

  1. At the bottom of the screen, tap the menu button (the menu will be at the top right if you're using an iPad):

  2. Tap Settings in the menu panel.
  3. Tap Search.
  4. Tap the current default search engine to change it.
  5. Tap the switch next to the search engine you want to turn it on switchonios.
  6. After you select a new default search engine, Firefox will take you back to the Search screen. Tap Settings to return to the menu, and tap Done to close it.
Show search suggestions: By default, Firefox shows you search suggestions from the default search engine while you type in the address bar. See Turn search suggestions on or off on Firefox for iOS to change this setting.
