Firefox OS has lots of great options for making and managing calls.

  • To make a call, open the PhoneThe image "phone 1.3" does not exist. app, dial a number and hit callbutton button. You can also choose a number from the call log Call call log or your contacts Call contacts.
  • To make a call, open the Phonephone 1.4 app, dial a number and hit callbutton button. You can also choose a number from the call log Call call log or your contacts Call contacts.
  • To make a call, open the Phonephone 2.0 app, dial a number and hit call button 2.0 button. You can also choose a number from the call log call log 2.0 or your contacts Call contacts 2.0.

Start a call from your contacts and call logs

Contacts

  1. Open the Phone Phone 1.3 app.
  2. Tap on Call contacts to open the contact list.
  3. Tap on the contact you would like to call
  4. Tap on the phone number.

Call log

The call log Call call log lists all of your incoming, outgoing and missed calls. It works with your contact list to let you make calls and add numbers to your contacts. The call log The image "Call log 2.0" does not exist. lists all of your incoming, outgoing and missed calls. It also works with your contact list to let you make calls and add numbers to your contacts.

  1. Open the Phone Phone 1.3 app.
  2. Tap on Call call log to open the contact list.
  3. Tap on the phone number or contact you would like to call

Want to redial your last call? Just tap on the green call button callbutton to automatically dial the last number you called.

In-call options

When you are on a call you can:

  • Silent your microphone by tapping the mutemute1 button.
  • Tap the dialer Dialpad button to bring up the number pad. This is helpful for navigating voice mail or other automated phone systems.
  • Tap the speakerspeaker (small) button to switch to the speakerphone so that others can hear the call.
  • Of course, tapping the red button will end the call.
    In-call options

Conference calling

Want to have a conversation with more than one person? Your other contacts can join in too.

  • While on an active call, tap on the add a caller button.

  • Your contacts will display. Choose the contact you want to add to your call.
  • When your additional contact connects, repeat the steps above to add more friends to the call.

You can add up to five friends to a call, for a total of six participants, including yourself.

Access your voicemail

  • Open the Phone app and press and hold the number 1 to call your voicemail.
