We have a web page we've created that is linked to by multiple other websites. For two of the sites where this is linked, Firefox (only) gives a "The Page Isn't Redirecting Properly" error. Using the exact same URL to link from other sites works fine in all browsers. Once you get the error, if you click in the URL and hit enter, the page will load fine. Any ideas? When searching that error, all the ideas I find tend to focus on the individual user's system, but this is happening for all users.

Thanks, but you didn't give the steps to replicate. ;-) I clicked on Faculty Opportunities and then the first link works for me. see screenshot https://uic.csod.com/ux/ats/careersite/1/home/requisition/16905?c=uic

Did you try with Firefox in Troubleshoot mode?

Sounds like it's happening at work. Can you try using a hotspot? Do you have the same issues on a personal computer?

All the other links on the page work fine. The steps to replicate from jobs.uic.edu are to scroll down to "New Posting Notifications" (screenshot attached) and click that link. This is the link that is causing redirect error. I have tried in troubleshoot mode and myself and other users have tried work computers on different networks and personal computers

Looks like the site is not HTTPS. After adding it to the exceptions it works for me. see screenshots

Thank you for looking at it! It actually is an https site that the http link hits that automatically redirects to the secure URL. We had an issue where using the https url did not work in any browser from some of our sites (works fine in others), but linking it as http did work everywhere but Firefox for some of our sites. The problem we're facing to come up with a fix is that it does work as an http link in Firefox in some of our sites. If you look at the '...humanresources...' site linked below and click the 'Sign Up for Job Alerts' at the bottom of the page, the link will work fine. You can see the URL in the link is http, but when the page loads, it is a https site. So, we're trying to figure out why it would work on this site: https://humanresources.illinois.edu/job-seekers/ But not this one: https://jobs.uic.edu/

This sounds like something you should take up with Devs. You can report to https://webcompat.com/issues/new or open a bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/home to have them look at it.
