This last week my Firefox browser is having problems with a number of sites, Home depot, Lowes, Best buy and others. I tried cleaning cookies and cache, re-installed Firefox but nothing helped. Using Chrome, I do not have this problem. Can you help? Thank you. Tony. Below is what I am receiving. When i try to connect to some websites, firefàx prompts "error 502 bad gateway" the same websites work on EDge !

since many weeks, a lot of website don't work any more, sometimes it work in private, sometimes not at all. i have to use chrome, i hate it but after 20years of use of mozilla, i'm ready to change because of this problem, i don't want to waste my time to use 2 navigators, or try 2 every day.

Scroll bar issue on some websites When accessing certain websites, the scroll bar disappears (for me, it's on the right side of the screen), and it's no longer possible to view the page content, even using the keyboard's scroll keys.

I'm stumped. For years I kept Firefox on my Windows machine (Win10, 64bit, 8gb ram) at some level around 80x (I forget the number). I even recently switched over to Edge until I got fed up with its complicated design. So when I went back to Firefox, I upgraded to the latest 147.0.3 (64-bit). At first everything seemed okay. But then I noticed I was having trouble posting comments on any Washington Post comment section OR the whole thing would freeze up or other oddities. ONLY there. Everything else runs fine.

To add to the mystery, I walk upstairs to where I have a Mac (Sonoma, with 64gb ram) with Firefox 143.0.1. And I can post comments on the Washington Post, nothing freezes, everything works fine. So it can't be a problem on the Post's site itself.

Back on the Windows machine I have tried various Firefox settings, changing the permissions from strict to standard, changing the performance settings, turning Add ons off and on one by one, running in Safe Mode. But no changes change the problem on the Post comment section.

I'm at a loss to understand the difference. The Mac does have more Ram, but previous to my upgrade on the Windows machine, it was running the Post site just fine.

Hi Mozilla. About once a day I will try to open a page on Firefox and I will just get a blank page with a red bar at the top. Often I will get a flash of the page only for it to disappear and I just get the white with red bar. Sometimes it happens when I click a link that opens a new tab. Other times it happens when I search using the taskbar (I use the Ecosia search extension). But honestly it just seems completely random. If I copy the URL into Chrome I'm able to access the website fine. I have tried disabling ad blocker and it doesn't help.

Hi, The last few times I have redesigned and uploaded my site (I use Weebly), certain pages do not show up on Firefox but do on other browsers. My site is www.devildoll.com and the pages: available, sold and commissions just show up as the grey box but the images do not load. When I look on Chrome, everything looks fine. Recently I upgraded to Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS from the earlier 22.04. I have Upon logging into yahoo Email on Firefox version- 147.0.4, the message - "Something went wrong We could not sign you in. Try again from a different device." is coming up. (Please refer to attached screen shot) All attempts with alternate method - with recovery methods were not success full (on Firefox)

Where as - Yahoo Email log in is successful on theses two: (1)chrome browser on the same machine (having Ubuntu 24.04) and on (2) on yahoo app on other device.

Please refer to screen shot. ( Earlier - it worked fine with Ubuntu 22.04 on firefox)

I get all other websites and I used to access couchmanagers.com on Firefox. But recently on about 90% of the clicks to this site I do NOT receive the "Current Auction" and "Chat" pages. What can I do to resolve this issue other than use another Browser. This site works fine on my Fire Tablet and everyone else computers and tablets.

Hover Tab in Style section in Elementor does not work in Mozilla Firefox! It works in Chrome and Opera, but I work in Mozilla Firefox. Many other users complain about this in Internet. When will you fix this bug?

After being able to view Netflix content on Firefox for, well, a long time, today I encountered audio with no video. Only a black screen. I contacted Netflix and they're telling me that Firefox needs updating - we tested Safari and it was able to play the entire content, video and audio. I checked Firefox and the info states the browser is up to date. I should add I'm on a Macbook Pro. The quality on Safari was not as good as Firefox has been so I would prefer not to have to use a second browser for one task. Can anyone provide some information on this situation?

Hi! So I have Windows 10, but don't know if that's what's causing these issues. Certain websites, that is, Instagram, Bluesky, Youtube, Yahoo, Facebook, and Norwegian news site NRK, as far as I've seen, are not loading properly. Insta and NRK are in simple mode, no matter how many times I refresh Yahoo initially says "failed to load", then resolves itself upon refreshing, but it's really annoying to have to refresh for every message and going back to the main inbox Youtube videos are stuck on the spinny wheel of death, and along with Reddit, one other symptom is that the profile pictures won't load. Reddit posts also won't load beyond the first few, and "continue thread" doesn't do anything Facebook won't load at all, still nothing as I refreshed just now. Bluesky, I'm not sure is Firefox's fault, or what, but I get the "Oops network error", at least on one user, it turns out, but not another, nor on Bluesky main page (I swear, it sometimes feels like at least Meta has something against Vivienne Medrano, because I was also having issues with Insta not showing posts in full screen mode before this became an issue, and it was only majority Hellaverse accounts that had these issues. The Bluesky account that won't load is also a Hellaverse account. Either way, that's not here nor there regarding this issue)

What on Earth is going on?! Is it that I have too many tabs? I do have around 1000 tabs, which I guess could be an issue, but it hasn't been until today, two or so hours ago. I was even fine last night! Is 1000 the limit, or something? I do have some ad removers, which btw, some other video watching sites suddenly won't load the videos unless I turn the adblocks off, not cool

I’m experiencing a persistent issue with Google Fonts (.woff2) on Windows 10. Only on some but not all pages whoch are using Google Font woff2: Fonts display correctly after starting Firefox, but as soon as I reload the pages with for the first time, they appear corrupted and remain broken. Private Browsing mode renders the fonts correctly, and Chrome does not have this problem.

Below is a detailed list of everything I’ve tried with ChatGPT so far to troubleshoot the issue.

(OS: latest Windows 10)

Browser: Firefox (freshly installed, no sync)

Behavior:

Disabled all extensions

Summary:

Issue is not caused by extensions, profile, cache, or a fresh install

Private Browsing works → problem is related to persistent normal-mode caching or rendering

Only occurs in normal windows, consistently reproducible after first reload

Problem seems specific to .woff2 font handling and Firefox’s rendering pipeline on Windows 10
