Can't IMport Passwords to Firefox
I'm running Windows 11 and FF build 106.0.1. I want to move my FF passwords from a Win 10 laptop I am retiring to my new Win 11 laptop. On my new laptop I have changed signon.management.page.fileimport. enabled to 'true'. I've tried to import my FF passwords from an FF created .csv file with no luck. I successfully imported that same password file into Chrome build 106.0.5249.119 and thought I could use the browser import to move the passwords but I also had no luck there. Both attempts appear to process successfully but when I check FF for my passwords there is nothing there. When envoking the Chrome transfer, Chrome is closed and in both instances my FF account has been logged into. What am I doing wrong? What else do I need to do?

Importing a CSV login file via the about:logins page is still broken in current Firefox releases. It seems to be fixed in the current Nightly builds (108.0a1),but it is not known whether it will be uplifted to Firefox Beta (107).

You can copy logins.json and key4.db from the old device to the new device.
You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
- Help -> More Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Folder/Directory:
Windows: Open Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data
You can copy certain files with Firefox closed to the current profile folder to transfer or recover personal data. Note that best is to avoid copying a full profile folder.

You can temporarily enable eval in the main process by setting the following preference in about:config to true : security.allow_eval_in_parent_process Import the file you need and return the pref to false afterwards.
