I haven't been able to access Bureau of Meterology Australia website for some time. I get this message: 'The Bureau of Meteorology website does not currently support connections via HTTPS You will shortly be redirected to http://www.bom.gov.au ' But redirection resultes in same message Also trying to go directly to http://www.bom.gov.au reslutls in same message again
Thankyou. All of the sites are bookmarks from www.bom.gov.au. Screenshot attached shows the message I get when any of those bookmarks are selected. www.bom.gov.au has a very deep menu structure, and using the bookmarks for what I want is really the only efficient way for me. Please note that when I made my original post, I was getting the following message: ‘You’ve enabled HTTPS-Only Mode for enhanced security, and a HTTPS version of www.bom.gov.au is not available.’ I now get the message shown in the screenshot.
Sorry to bother you all. We regularly have seen issues reported with the BOM website. *https://support.mozilla.org/search?product=firefox&w=2&q=www.bom.gov.au The BOM website only works when accessed via HTTP and not via secure HTTPS. If a secure connection is enforced then this website doesn't work and you get a warning page that a secure connection isn't supported, otherwise you should be redirected to the http site.
