When I turned on my computer this morning, and opened Firefox, it froze, and had to be process-ended by Windows.

Subsequently, it also caused Windows Explorer crash.

I was forced to hard-reboot my computer, and restarted it to find all my tabs gone and unrecoverable, and all cookies deleted.

However, my browsing history remains.

Furthermore, my attempt at recovery of this data via the automated backup taken Monday 29 September 2025 - three days before this post - accomplished nothing.

I have looked in several places here, and found no help at all in recovering lost tabs. All threads remain unresolved.

Please provide troubleshooting assistance ASAP.

Further to the above, it has now become clear that some browser history has, in fact, been lost, though only some sites.

Is this because these sites were only refreshed, not navigated to?
