Si può cambiare o eliminare, ma se lo fai verranno cancellate tutte le password e i login memorizzati -> https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/Perdita%20della%20password%20principale -> https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/Utilizzare%20una%20password%20principale%20per%20proteggere%20le%20password%20salvate

De resto se potesse essere scavalcata non servirebbe a nulla.
