cannot set firefox as default

firefox is not listed in the drop down menu when selecting default browsers. The only listing is Microsoft Edge. This problem just started. How can this be fixed?

Hello Goodpastor, Sometimes this works:

(Remember which apps that you have set as default)

In Windows Settings -> Apps -> Default Apps Select 'Reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults'

Then see if Firefox appears in the list.
