After updating from version 68 (where I could enable autoplay in general) to version 79, I could only enable audio autoplay for Wifi access. The alternatives were to disable autoplay for both audio and video or to enable autoplay for video only. However, I am also heavily using my Android web browser to play music from my own media center over cellular networks, and with version 79, I could find no way to enable audio autoplay for cellular networks. This makes the new browser version basically unusable for my use case, so I now have actually downloaded and installed an old version 68 APK to re-gain the ability to use the Firefox web browser as audio player, no matter where I am.

Maybe I somehow missed how I can enable audio autoplay independent of the access network. If this is the case, I would be happy if you could guide me how to get there. Otherwise, I think the designers/developers should consider to add a fourth option for generally enabling audio autoplay to support this use case.

Either way, your feedback is highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Prior to the recent Firefox for Android upgrade, I was able to watch the livestream of my church's worship service. The livestream always initiates with a "Tap to unmute" pop-up over the video. That pop-up is apparently blocked by default in the new Firefox for Android, so I have no way to turn on audio. As a result, I am forced to switch to Chrome. The "Tap to unmute" pop-up displays and functions properly in Chrome, although Chrome is much more reluctant to continue playing in background or with the screen off, something I always appreciated in Firefox if I needed to save battery by turning off the screen.

What can I do to enable the "Tap to unmute" pop-up so I can go back to Firefox? Thank you for any help you can offer, C.C.

I had some cookies turned off, but then turned them all back on so that I could access amazon.com in my browser. However I cannot log into Amazon because it keeps telling me to enable cookies, even though I have enable all cookies in my Firefox Android browser. Ironically, I had to use Chrome to log into Mozilla support in order to post this question, because Mozilla support requires cookies which are turned on, but it does not seem to know. I have turned all the Privacy features off hoping that would work with no luck. How do I fix this?
