Firefox 63.0.2 Huawei Mediapad M5 10.8 Tablet Android version 8.0.0 (Oreo)

Hi. I have to abide by court order to retain all my browsing history or face a penalty. I have gone into the Firefox privacy settings & unchecked the box that would have deleted my browsing history when I quit the browser. However this past month I have noticed that Firefox is automatically deleting every subsequent page I visit once I go beyond 100.

Is this a bug or part of the Quantum update to make the browser run more efficiently by caching less memory? It's important that my browsing history is not deleted.

This is on a new Nexus 5 phone. I tried using the supplied Chrome browser and was disappointed to find that clearing the cache (through Chrome or Android settings/apps), did not work. Old visited websites and tabs were still present upon re-starting. I just installed Firefox and it has the same problem. I have no bookmarks stored. Is there a solution to this?

On the desktop version of Firefox you have the BASIC privacy tool everyone wonder about

I have browsed various pages of a website and I want to remove all those entries from my browsing history.

Though I DON'T WANT to wipe all my browsing history entries

Why this basic NEEDED feature from such a browser that claims so much about its care about user privacy has been forgotten in the Android version? Or maybe in all the mobile versions

We have company phones, we have relatives, we have friends. So NOT necessarily my phone will be accessed by me myself and I only

This missing feature is a big hole in hole in the privacy flag that Mozilla is flaunting around the world

Hi,

Since the lastest 79.0.5 Firefox for Android version was installed on my mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 4), autofilling connexion fields (logins + passwords) on every websites I visit is not possible anymore.

All logins and passwords are still there, and Firefox still maintains the list up to date (if I enter a wrong password for example, FF proposes to update its list). But this list isn't usable anymore for autocompletion.

This page on Mozilla support is not up to date on this purpose, because the switch to activate autofill function has disapeared from this version :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/logins-sync-autofill-saving-firefox-preview#w_turn-on-autofill

Here is a screenshot of what I see (french version), and no switch there...

Is it a bug, and how to get it back ? Thank you for your help.

Hi folks,

Firefox updated automatically to 79 (Android). Now it ignores the passwords that I entered in former times and does not ask for saving, if I enter new passwords again and again. Yes, the setting is "Ask for saving passwords".

Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Bernd.

On certain sites that should be secure, it says 'insecure connection' This has been happening for a month or more.

I tried force stopping my anti malware software to see if it was causing this and it wasn't. I also tried disabling a add on I recently installed and it wasn't causing the problem either. This concerns me because this may compromise my security.

When I start a fresh browsing session using Firefox for Windows, and I go to Amazon's site, I am NOT logged in.

But when I start a fresh browsing session using Firefox Mobile for Android, I find I am already logged in. I have set Firefox to clear data on exit (Settings/Privacy/Clear Private Data/Clear on Exit).

This is a security issue. If I lost my phone, someone could easily order products under my name. Is this is a bug or am I missing some setting?

I have a CoolPad which is Android and did not get a Master Password option. I went to their forum and asked them about this and they said there was no MPW option as there is a problem in the android logic and they cannot fix it.

So here in this forum it is stated there IS a MPW option but I still don't see it on my FF on my smart phone. Also, can you sync that same phone with a MPW (if indeed there is a MPW option). Did I somehow download an old FF version or something? It was only a couple months ago I downloaded it.

What am I not doing/seeing?
