I am Muhammad Rizwan, a user of a Samsung J3 6 mobile phone, and I am experiencing a persistent and widespread issue with web permissions specifically within the Firefox browser on my device. This problem is not limited to a single website but affects multiple online services requiring various permissions.

The details of the issue are as follows:

Location Access Problem:

Despite granting explicit permission for location access on various websites, including Yandex Maps, within Firefox, the sites consistently display messages such as "Unable to determine your location" or similar error notifications.

I have verified that my phone's general location settings are enabled and set to "High Accuracy Mode." GPS signals are generally stable in my area.

Microphone and Other Permissions:

Beyond location, I am encountering similar difficulties with microphone access and other web permissions (e.g., camera, if applicable) on different websites accessed via Firefox. Websites request and are seemingly granted permission, but the functionality does not activate or remains unusable.

This issue is not confined to one specific website; it appears to be a systemic problem affecting nearly all websites that require these permissions when browsed through Firefox.

I have already attempted the following basic troubleshooting steps:

Cleared Firefox's cache and site-specific data for affected websites.

Restarted the Firefox browser.

Restarted the phone.

Confirmed that my phone's date and time settings are correct.

Verified that I am not using any VPN or proxy services.

The inability to properly utilize these web permissions within Firefox on my Samsung J3 6 is significantly hindering my ability to access and use various online services effectively. I kindly request your assistance in investigating this matter and providing guidance on a potential resolution.

For some reason, my Honor tablet has stopped displaying my tabs in the tool bar. I didn't ask for it to do this, and have been trying in vain to reverse it.

Hi, I have switched from Chrome to Firefox for Android. Generally the app works great, but I experienced a a very annoying problem: When I click on a link on my home screen, Firefox opens and shows the requested web page, but in most cases it shows the outdated version of the page, apparently from the cache. Of course I could update the page manually, but I am tired to do so again and again. Acivating the option "Clear cache when Firefox is closed" does not remove the problem as this is performed only when I cancel the Firefox task through the task manager. So I think it is understandable why the problem occurs, but I don't see a solution or a workaround. I didn't notice this problem with Chrome, so I think they must have found a solution. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Guys, the only issue I have is that Firefox for Android can't import/export bookmarks.html. I've tested a few others, especially one called Kiwi, and even Brave. I understand that they're Chromium based, but why can't the same functionality be built into Firefox? I think that the Sync function is too limiting. Other than that, I LOVE Firefox, have used it on PC for years and have always enjoyed the experience. It's just that I use my phone to do a great many things these days, rather than using my laptop, so the bookmark import/export feature would just make it perfect for me 😊. I using firefox for android, and due I can't afford new ones, the second-hand devices broken often.

Well, also I don't had "desktop computer" in terms of OS. Because, tough, Samsung S series devices used as desktop device, via DEX station. I had only one working device, usually, but now succeded to achieve a second one, before the working one was quit. There's an option, to pair with a QR code.

Why that function tied to OS? Which made sense, which function or feature made it "desktop only" accessible?

We are now in 2025, meanwhile all the devs are basically thinking, out there nothing was changed. The primary computing now heavily switched to android based devices, and just sounds sick, I still tied to an outdated technology, to get smooth workaround.

I am trying to switch to Firefox but I'm having a lot of trouble on my Android phone. I have the AdGuard app already installed on my phone and it seems to be the source of the problem. Every link I click on that opens in the browser is blocked when AdGuard is enabled. It's only if I disable AdGuard do the links open.

I have attached a couple screenshots of what I see when I can't open a link. I have no intention of disabling AdGuard just to use Firefox, as I don't have this issue with any other browser I have, including Brave and DuckDuckGo.

Any help would be appreciated.

can't flip the camera bottom left. and it keeps crashing while talking to people

downloaded user agent switcher EXTENSION. switched to ios ipad (because that's the only way you can use ome tv on a android browser). go to ome tv site . logged in.

Actual results:

the camera flip option in the bottom left not working!! it just shows my rear camera

I have been running Tbird on my desktop for years, and it's still working great.

About 2 years ago I picked up a One Plus 11G which came with no e-mail client. I searched for Tbird and found K9 mail (with promises of Tbird soon), which I installed and used since then with no problems.

Few months ago, i got my wife a Samsung23+ and she used the supplied e-mail and messaging programs but constantly complained that she could have only one notification sound for both mails and texts and wanted to tell them apart. I told her I'd have to install a separate mail app so she could have two different sounds.

OK, I checked and finally found that Tbird was now available for Android so i installed it on her phone and she is very happy now.

Since it worked for her, I decided to install it on my phone to replace K9 Mail, and that's when the fun started.

It works great for incoming mails, but when I try to send mails via WiFi or via cell, I get a "Failed to send some messages sender refused" notification.

I got another phone and installed Tbird and it behaves the same way on that phone whether I set it up as POP (my usual setting) or IMAP.

I've installed other mail apps (GMAIL and Edison)and they send out with no problems both POP and IMAP.

If I go to the the Optonline web mail site via Firefox on my phone, I have no issues sending out mails, but that is a clunky way to do since Tbird normally worked so well as it is now or in iots earlier K9 version.

Any idea what is causing this problem only with Tbird? I really like Tbird and I don't like the other two apps.

I tried to export my Pocket links because they're shutting down. The export I received doesn't include any tags, which makes it pretty much useless. How do I get one with the tags, so I can import to a different tool?

Only on facebook.com- when I comment on anything, every time I enter any key the screen rolls down to the bottom of the page. I dont like using the app bc it takes up a lot of my battery. I even got a new device(s24) and this is still happening. Anyone experience this and know how I can make this stop?

Issue Description: I'm encountering a privacy tab setting issue with the Firefox app on my Android phone. When I close the Firefox app, all private tabs are automatically cleared and not retained. However, when I previously used Firefox on an iPhone (iOS 11), private tabs remained open after relaunching the app.

Specific Questions:

1.Is there a setting in the Android version of Firefox to retain private tabs after closing the app?

2.Is this behavior due to Android's restrictions or Firefox's default configuration?

3.If no direct setting exists, are there workarounds (e.g., extensions or specific versions) to achieve this?

My mobile phone is: Nothing Phone (3a) Pro Android 15

Firefox search was not working for some thinfs like Yahoo or google so I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would fix it. Before that I tried clearing the cache and restarting my phone. When I reinstalled most of my bookmarks on the initial page have dissappeared. Is there a way to recover them or can someone on your end send me a list or something so I can bookmark them again manually? Please help ASAP?!
