WTF?! You guys do not even have a technical support category?!?!??!

The latest update has broken ebay.com.au. It works fine in private mode. It WILL NOT WORK in troubleshooting mode. Works fine in other browsers on the same Windows 10 PC. Ive also tried disabling addons and extensions, and even Pocket, as well as browsing protection (the shield icon). It just sits there saying "transferring data from ".... the next bit varies, but usually says ebay.com.au, or sometimes a different page, but it NEVER COMPLETES.

I get that it might have trouble with unusual code, but WTF is with firefox not working with EBAY?!

Hi :)

I use Firefox on my Asus laptop running Windows 10. It's one of these laptops with both integrated and dedicated graphics (Intel plus Nvidia).

I often experience this issue when putting a video in full-screen (especially when viewing trailers on Steam, but this may just be because I mainly use my Windows laptop for gaming, and thus most of my video consumption here is from steam). This screen will briefly (for less than one second) turn black and audio will pause before the video appears in full-screen, and playback resumes normally.

It "feels" like a GPU switch is taking place, I'd assume from the integrated graphics to the GeForce card. This is not the proble. The issue appears when I return from full-screen mode. I always have several Command Prompts open with SSH connections to my Linux server and sometimes my MacBook Pro. These windows are now empty. That is, all text is gone, and I can no longer interact with the sessions. They're not "broken," as in they're not saying "Not responding" and don't ask to be forcefully closed, they're just black windows with borders around them. All I can do is close them all down and open new ones to reconnect and start over from where I think I remember I was.

I should note that this doesn't ONLY happen with Firefox videos going into full-screen, it has also happened after launching a game and returning to the desktop. This strengthens my belief that this has to do with GPU switching and/or video "mode" change(s).

Assuming I'm correct (my IQ is 5,000 and I do do the very big brians), is there any way to control how videos go into full-screen in Firefox? Or "lock it" to a specific GPU? I've rummaged through about:config and haven't seen anything that seems directly relevant.

I've already tried using the Windows settings to tell the system that Firefox.exe should use the integrated Intel graphics only, but this has no effect.

I remember I used to use "Media Player Classic" many years ago, and it had a slew of options of how to render full-screen video. IIRC, it had stuff like "Overlay," "Windowed," "Windowed borderless," "DirectX," etc. This make me wonder if there's multiple ways of chosing how to render video in full-screen, then maybe one could direct Firefox to use a different one than the default and my problem might disappear? Or maybe one could tell Windows that if an app wants to go into full-screen video mode, Windows should pick a specific mode for it?

I'm not a Windows developer, so I don't know :) But I'm hoping someone has a good tip, because I'm finding myself using this system more and more, and this is my biggest problem with it currently.

scroll bars cover website-widgets (check boxes) (110.0.1 64-Bit)!! e.g., when trying to activate a checkbox at the right edge (Amazon, marking an item to cancel an order) that is not possible because the firefox scrollbar (right side) covers the Amazon checkbox, so it is impossible to mark it, and so the order cannot be cancelled!

This is an unacceptable malfunction!!

(OTOH, on MSEdge, the scrollbar sits to the right of the checkboxes without ever covering them, so it's obvious that this is specific Firefox malfunction!!!)

Hello! I'm trying to login on the developer hub, and it asks me to set up the 2FA, i follow the instructions, setting up the key that it gives me

After that I do verify the code and it success, but it is stuck on saying "Two-step authentication enabled" and it does not do anything

I try again to press the button, it times me out so I wait 15 minutes, after that it says again it has been enabled, but I does don't do anything else.

If I reload the page I start from 0 with another code, and same behavior.

When using Google authenticator the code is wrong both entering the code and scanning the qr.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Prior to recent updates, Firefox tabs that were opened from a link on a webpage would always open right next to the current tab. Which was fine and wonderful. Sadly, following recent version updates new tabs opened from links now tend to 'wonder' off to the far end of whatever other links may have also been opened previously from that site. The problem with this new behaviour is that such tabs quickly become lost amongst the various branches of the tree as other links are opened in 'child' tabs of links that have gone before. In short, this new behaviour results in a complete confusing mess, especially as the newly opened tabs may end up so far off to the right that it's difficult to find the way back to the page they were opened from! Please could you at least provide an option so the user can set new links to open right next to the current tab, as they used to do, rather than some no doubt logical but nonetheless baffling and impractical location some 6, 21 or even more tabs away from the current tab. I have the plasma browser integration extension and the corresponding package for my distro. But it doesn't work and I get the "failed to connect to native host" message. Am I doing something wrong? I use: KDE neon 5.27 KDE plasma version: 5.27.3 Firefox edition 111.0, Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu Thanks in advance!

Lately, I've been having the problem with bookmars.

When I want to save my favourite pages to specific folders I created for different areas, I always used the method where you click in panel with www address e.g. https://support.mozilla.org/, the whole address is now selected and I drag that addres to specific folder of mine. When placed, the bookmark was saved to that folder, but in addition to that, Mozila browser also fetched bookmark title with title of the page.

So after drag-and-dropping the link https://support.mozilla.org/ I ended up with bookmark in my folder, that looked like this: "Get Support | Mozilla Support"

Now when I do the same procedure, I just copy the link addres itself. So it ends up like this: "https://support.mozilla.org"

You get the idea. )Where did the feature of fetching titles dissapear? Can it be returned back?

I've been using bookmarks this way (drag-and-drop by mouse to specific folder) since I can remember. And this problem occured just week ago. It helps me to speed up my process faster than using the star icon. And now I dont even know what I saved when I look at my folder and try to make sence of it the next day, because everything I can see is link addresses.

I tried it on many computers and many diferent systems Win10 11 etc and I still get the same problem. I tried it with reinstalling Firefox, with deafult settings, in normal or inkognito mode. Nothing works.

Any help? Can this be fixed?

Hi. When I play YouTube videos, the videos always misses the first few seconds ( about 3). I had this problem from 6 months ago.

It looks like someone has cropped all the videos. I have reloaded the video and place the video cursor at very beginning without results..

I would appreciate any help. Tank You

When booting my laptop Firefox appears in Task Manager as 80%+ CPU usage causing my laptops fans to spin at high speed. This is before I have started Firefox. This started happening after the latest Firefox update 111.0.1.

Ever since the update Firefox has been taking at least 10-15 minutes to load. The when it does finally load, I can't always get a webpage to load...at least not for another 10 minutes.

I restarted the computer, cleared the cache and cookies, disabled all extensions...nothing helped. This happened the last time Firefox updated. At the time I just stopped System Mechanic from interfering and it worked easily again. This time it isn't System Mechanic, it doesn't seem to be the extensions....what now?

Hi Mozilla First and foremost I love this browser and the way I am able to save my pw and my pocket Anyway, I got a new iPhone had a poor rep and a very poor transfer My FF had to be reloaded 4 times When I try to go to my PW it brings me to a help article and I am always signed out How do I get back to normal use and stay signed in

On the landing page for youtube, I used to be able to right mouse click on a video thumbnail and select "open image in a new tab" from the context menu and see the thumbnail in a new tab window.

After recent updates, (now using 111.0.1 64bit , on windows 10 pro), this feature no longer exists. It's not a change on youtube because the thumbnail is still recognized as an image and can be opened in a new tab when I use Edge browser. It seems like Firefox no longer recognizes the thumbnail as an image.

Is there any setting I can change to get the feature of "open image in new tab" back into the context menu. or somehow get Firefox to recognize the thumbnail as an image ?

Since ver 111.0 I have not been able to use stock exchange platform onvista.de. It does not show chart and further anymore. I only see a blank body of the site, for example see https://www.onvista.de/derivate/Knock-Outs/242774026-SV3AUN-DE000SV3AUN7.

Multiple tabs crash at what seems like around a particular time of the day.

I've tried resistalling macOS (and of course in the process reinstalling Firefox.

After the tabs crash, if I exit Firefox, it crashes on Exit too. I must have submitted crash reports one exit over a dozen times now.

I have a new laptop so needed to install an adblock. The search results page gave many choices. However, no matter which one I clicked on it said this page is not available in your region. Now how is that possible seeing as on my previous laptop and in the same region I could install the add on? I have had to use a VPN to install the adblocker. Please explain how regions prevent the installation and why it happens. Firefox is universal or so I thought.

I am trying to install Firefox on a new computer but I keep getting stuck on the confirmation code that is supposed to be sent to my email address. I have not received the code after several attempts. I have been waiting for about 30 minutes. I have checked my spam folder and I have added accounts@firefox.com as a safe sender. I have to get this installed soon so I need help right away. Thanks

When I scroll down and click on a bookmark it used to remember where I left off, now it always starts at the top of the list every time. I haven't changed any settings that I know of, the computer has updated so I assume something changed.

Amazon and YouTube movie pages have been freeezing up since the most recent Windows 10 update. I have to switch to Chrome to watch movies. They freeze on their main pages and don't necessarily have to have a movie playing.
