I am running Firefox 144.0 on kubuntu 24.04.3 LTS I have lost sound on Firefox. I have opened the same sites in Chrome and the sound is working fine. It's only in Firefox. I have tried several sites including Udemy, YouTube, and radio programs, no sound from Firefox. The problem started in the middle of a Jit.Si session. All of a sudden the sound disappeared. I thought that restart Firefox would help, then restart the computer would help. But the problem has continued. The speakers is turned on the volume is up, just not a sound from Firefox. What to do?

Each time a video call comes in, the message on messenger, says Video calling is not supported on this browser. I've gone to the browser settings and cannot find anything that would change this. Help.

from yesterday playback speed on youtube is not working. When I open the same video with Edge playback speed is available.

Could you please check and rework?

Hello, I'm having a problem on Windows 10. It's a fresh windows installation and I tried already some solutions: reinstalling firefox, deleting cache, refreshing firefox, private windows, no add ons, trouble shoot mod. Nothing helped. The problem seems to be with live stream, either on twitch.tv or youtube.

Hello, I am facing an issue while playing YouTube videos in Firefox. The videos are lagging and not playing smoothly, even though my internet connection is fine. Please help me fix this problem.

For the last two years the issues with video stutter have been worse and worse for me. I don't know if it is because of a different codec the video is using, but if it was I would expect the fans to ramp up from trying to decode it. Instead, my laptop stays always silent, but the video laggs like crazy when I want to play it at native 1440p.

I cannot view or change the video codec, since the current issue happens on a platform (herohero.com) other than youtube.

I have installed a analog to digital converter software to convert High8 tapes to digital. It is all hooked up, but the video and audio from the converter program will no show on computer. Help!

Youtube brought up in the broswer works fine with audio/video but on other websites I can view the video and can't hear the audio.

There used to be dozens of video downloaders. Now, none of them work except for one that requires a ridiculous fee. Are there still youtube video downloaders that still work

For many years, I have been exchanging video calls on Facebook.

Recent attempts to video call the same person I've been video calling for the past 3 years result in "your browser doesn't support video calls"

Have I been "hacked"?

I have Win 11 dell computer that does not play or pick up sound from web sites videos .I checked and tested my sound using the Microsoft platform & buy playing a disc. It works OK

Following a recent update of my bios (AMD Ryzen) of my PC the on-board sound system failed. I chased down the issue, got a sound card to circumvent the on-board circuits, and had sound once again but for my FireFox (Ver 133.0.3, on Windows 11 Home, Ver 10.0.22631 Build 22631). Testing with alternate browsers (Edge, Opera) the sound works, as do my downloaded games and music but no joy with FireFox.

My question: Is this a known issue being addressed for a future update or are my circumstances an outlier issue?
