I had technical with Firefox recently and lost a bunch of tabs and all my bookmarks. Is there any way I can retrieve all of that? I looked in the preferences history and nothing. Thanks.

How can I view the bookmarks/library in the browser pane, rather than a toolbar on the side? I can't read the small print, my folders aren't visible, and a miss-click collapses the entire menu.

I want it to open like the "settings" menu, where it is in the browser pane like any regular website.

Hi, I have been using Firefox for years without problems, and suddenly the vast majority of my bookmarks -- while retaining the link designation -- have been replaced with links to Amazon products. I uninstalled Firefox, re-installed, and reloaded the links, and for a few hours last night, the bookmarks linked correctly to the intended addresses, but now it's back to an invasion by links to Amazon products, hidden behind the bookmark names.

My bookmarks does not show the icons of the bookmarked items. It just show a generic icon like a globe. On my other PC it shows the icon of the companies bookmarked. For example the Citibank, it shows the Icon of the Citibank, or Kaiser Permanente, it shows the icon of Kaiser. How do I set my Firefox to do the same?

With the last 2 updates, my bookmarks have not been reinstated on the bookmarks toolbar. They are listed under "Bookmarks"; how do I get them on to the Toolbar again? I am using version 104.0.2 (64 bit)

Whenever I use the searchbar in the bookmarks manager, it always searches all of my bookmarks, but sometimes I might only want to search for that query within a specific folder. Is there any way to limit a bookmarks search to only a specific folder rather than the entirety of my bookmarks?

All my bookmarks and saved passwords are gone when Firefox updated. It usually brings the bookmarks over, now I have to rebuild these manually. Help please. I tried reading the help but not really getting anywhere.

I want to remove the "Open All in Tabs" bookmark from my bookmarks folders, it's annoying and unnecessary (mouse scroll button is enough). Right clicking it opens the same menu as right clicking any folder, but in this case, the only option I want ("Delete Folder") is unavailable. I searched for a solution online, but the only thing I saw was something about editing codes and stuff, but I'd rather not mess with them. I couldn't find anything about it in the settings either, and there were no plugins, add-ons or extensions to fix this problem. If there's no way at all around it without having to mess with code, please do tell when I can expect to see an update that will bring a way to turn it off.

Windows auto-updated and my bookmark toolbar disappeared

I still see all of my bookmarks in the "Bookmarks" list, but none of them appear across the top of my screen, where they usually are and I can't put them back.

For the past 1year I used firefox in Windows, yesterday I installed linux and login in mozilla but the bookmarks I booked in windows desktops are not shown. I had saved a lot of important websites and save lot of website passwords. None of them are not showing in ubuntu desktop.

MacBook Air crashed and i lost all my Firefox Bookmarks, I cannot add new Bookmarks, and my History is gone - how can i restore these functions / data so everything is restored and Firefox works again?

Bookmark Manager in Firefox Nightly 107.0a1 (2022-10-02) (64-bit) can't be maximized in Windows 7. When the bookmark manager is opened and I attempt to maximize it, only the upper left corner of the page is displayed. This is the same portion that is displayed prior to attempting to maximize the window, but the rest of the maximized window is grayed-out.

Restarting in safe mode does not solve the issue. It used to work correctly until a few days ago. Currently, the only way to resolve this issue is to restore to the last save point in Windows 7. This seems to be a bug introduced with one of the latest patches.

This morning after no noticeable change to my computer, the bookmarks are missing from Firefox. I thought it might be after last update, but that was a week ago (I think) and I didn't have this issue until after the weekend (computer on but not used, system did not restart). The bookmark backups are listed but i get the following error when trying to load them:

"Unable to process the backup file."

I have found the file location, but even trying to do it manually gives the same error.

Is this a bug from the new update?

Hello, I am changing computers. I used Mozilla Firefox on the old computer and now on the new one. It's the same version; I checked. I exported the bookmarks from the old computer as HTML (that was the only option) but when I try to import them to the new computer and the same version of Firefox, they will not import.

By the way, I’ve scanned over and over again, with different software, the computer for any malware, virus, etc, and it’s all clean.

I’ve used Firefox and bookmarks for years.

Lately, when I try to place (sometimes even when I’ve already placed it) the cursor on a bookmark (any bookmark) all the bookmarks (including the selected, “highlighted”, bookmark) roll away, upwards or downwards.

As for the selected bookmark, it disappears from view, even though, when I find it, I can see that the bookmark itself remains selected.

Weird.

What am I doing wrong??

I think the latest update, Firefox 105.01, screwed up my bookmarks. The Star on the address bar is blue for any site. Clicking on it does nothing. Will not edit, three bar menu will not edit, Control D will not edit.

There is now a bar underneath the address bar for a toolbar which was not there previously. I have never used or needed the bookmarks toolbar.

The Release notes for 105.01 (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/105.0.1/releasenotes/?utm_source=firefox-browser&utm_medium=firefox-desktop&utm_campaign=about-dialog) appears as a bookmark in an unrelated folder. It will not delete.

I did look at the release notes right after the update. I closed that tab and did not bookmark it.

Cannot add new bookmarks.

I just discovered on the three bar menu under the Bookmarks menu that 105 shows as the last recent bookmark. Prior recent bookmarks will open up the "edit this bookmark." Only the save button is highlighted & clicking on that does nothing & the menu disappears.

Please fix. Thank you
