The small green dot in the upper right that notifies me of a pending update is gone, since several months. When I navigate to About Firefox, or in the settings, I can see that a new version is available and it lets me install the update. But I miss being able to see the notification.

Did I disable some setting by mistake? Auto-updates should be turned on as far as I know.

On a website I visit, Firefox is not showing icons. The attached picture shows how it looks in Fifefox on top and Edge on the bottom on the same PC. Things I have done so far:

1) Cleaned cookies and cache 2) Turned off all extensions and virus program 3) Turned off hardware acceleration

1) Does Mozilla Firefox for Mac offer email technical support?

2) After a recent Firefox for Mac update (36.0.1 (aarch64)) the ability to drag and drop files from Finder to the open Gmail (email) window on the browser (not in the Gmail app), does not function -- in fact, is hangs with the circle of death, then have to close the window tab, and reopen. In worst case, have to force quit Firefox browser.

I also have Grammerly installed for the Gmail / email function - I will disable it to see if that's the culprit.

Lastly, very difficult to find product problems and reported issues - and difficult to know "what topic best describes my PROBLEM - not question."

I enjoy Firefox and use it on all platforms. In the last week it has been difficult to browse if I leave the app for more than a few seconds. I have found that in Task manager, the Firefox processes go to efficiency mode. Once that happens I cannot bring the browser back active. How can I turn off efficiency mode for Firefox? Thanks.

I recently was able to successfully install Firefox on my Chromebook via Linux following instructions on the site. I have received notifications about an update from March 14th and I do not know how I can install this update. Can you please walk me through the steps required. It does not seem to install automatically and now my extensions don't appear to be working anymore. Thank you.

i type in something in the text field, i click somewhere and go back to the previous page where i was typing and everything is reset. why? chrome and opera dont do that.

Firefox is up to date, I am using ProtonVPN. When connecting to the VPN from the desktop app firefox will not load any pages. If I connect through the browser extension the internet functions properly. other apps and browsers perform as expected

Video is not loaded on youtube, I have the whole site, but when i go to any video, I have an endless download, normal video download will be one of 30, I don't know what to do with this At the same time, such a problem is not observed in other browsers, but I want to use Firefox Please help me

using (file, edit, view) type page and would like to change the bookmarks dropdown menu i would like to get rid of: Bookmark current tab, seach bookmarks, bookmark all tabs and the separators i don't use tabs, i just open new windows if i can't delete them, would like to be able to move them to the bottom thank you

This is not a question, but rather an observation. When I imported passwords from Chrome (Version 134.0.6998.89 (Official Build) (64-bit)) to Firefox (136.0.1 (64-bit)) one of the passwords was incorrectly imported from Chrome. One of my passwords contains an exclamation mark (!) at the end, and this mark was cut off when I imported it. For example. Password in Chrome: password123! Password in Firefox: password123

Firefox is my defult browser which I use for 90% of the time - over the last week ebay has become vertually unuseable so having to use chrome as a backup which works fine tried using ccleaner which cleans the cash etc now lost all passwords and logins also as you can see spell check GB English fails to work many times for forms such as this inc freecycle etc etc - so help please from someone with the knowhow did install a spell checker as an plugin or extension some time ago dont recall what it was called but failed to work - so now heading into my 80's the grey matter fails to work as it did 30 years ago and could do with a little help thanks in advance.
