I have lost recent activity on home screen. There are blank tiles but nothing is being added.Hovering over tiles nothing happens. How do I get recent activity to appear again ?

A while back, I had some very bad cataracts. In order to view text more easily, I somehow managed to change black text against a white background to white text against a black background in the pdf reader's settings. A side effect of this change was that color became grayscale. I would now like to return the settings to default. I've lost the article on how I made the changes. How can I get the pdf reader back to it's default settings?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. The settings did not change.

My question is fairly simple. I have multiple microphones available to the system, shown in the first screenshot below. Most of these are physical microphone inputs, but I've also created a virtual device.

I am only able to use 3 of these, consistently the same 3 devices, in Firefox - shown in the 2nd screenshot. Interestingly, one of the devices that shows in Firefox (Teams Audio Device) I cannot find anyone else on my system. https://www.onlinemictest.com/ is a good site to allow selection of the audio device, but I get the same results across all sites that use audio - google meet being the big one.

I've gone through all settings menus and played with everything that I can find - resetting microphone permissions, clearing cookies.

I've accessed the same site (https://www.onlinemictest.com/) in Firefox Dev Edition, and I *can* select from my full range of microphones.

Interestingly, and just something I've noticed while submitting this issue, the debug info *does* include the mic devices missing from the menu!

Can anybody help me look into what's keeping my list of mics in this 'frozen' state, and stop me from having to use Chrome for work meetings?

I am trying to get rid of the fullscreen animation i have tried changing full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter and full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave to 0 0 but the animation still plays

It has occurred to my Firefox Browser of the latest version of 115 with some websites I have recently visited however which appear 8 grids of blank or white pages under "Recent Activity" as attached with the image for your technical troubleshooting suggestion.

Those 8 grids of Recent Activity in the older version of Firefox browsers used to have shown colorful graphics or images representative of the recent websites I visited in the recent past.

May I know what I am supposed to do to recover those graphics or images?

Kindly offer any suggestion or solution?

I'm sort of fed news that are often "Pro-women" by pocket in the name of thought-provoking stories. I feel that this has to do with some brain-washing agenda. I don't want to see these stupid pro-women news slapped on my face every time I open Firefox. How to show "pro-human" news that include both pro-men news and pro-women news?

Right now, I'm seeing many "Feminist news" rather than anti-feminist news. So, I'm completely blinded by one side of the coin. Here's the problem. Even when I see these feminist news, it's always positive about them. There are no "Redpill, MGTOW, MRA, MRM" news which is obviously the other side of the coin and I do see it, it's often negative. I see a bias here. I don't want that bias to be fed to my brain.

In short, I want to see a balanced view or "Pro-male" news because I'm a man. I don't want to be fed all these "Pro-female" news to me.

If I press and hold the arrow key, the page scrolls for a few lines and then there is a delay of about a second before it actually starts scrolling. How do you remove this delay? For example, hjkl works exactly how I want it to in the vimium extension, but I'm also using home row modes, so I can't use it. I'm not talking about smooth scroll or something like that. I also tried Yet Another Smooth Scrolling WE and it's not what I was looking for. This delay also common to chromium.

Thanks for your help with this. When I search for something in FF and click on the MAPS button, it comes up with Apple Maps by default. I would like that button to open Google Maps by default. (Mainly because Apple Maps misses a lot of information and significantly hinders my searches. Invariably, opening Google maps gets me to my answer or information much quicker.

I have tried various help suggestions but simply have not been able to do this.

Please can you tell me if it's possible to do this and if so, how?

I'd like to use my NAS download application to handle magnet links. How can I do that with Firefox?

For mailto: links, you can specify web apps like GMail, same for e.g. IRC. However, for magnet: links, this is not possible, only local applications are supported. I even got an error message by the web application offering to configure this, saying the browser didn't support configuring this protocol.

I can edit my short cuts. One I have added the Name, and the URl, I also have the option to add a custom picture to the square icon for the shortcut. It seems obvious to want, as I do, to "drag and drop" a photo of my choice from my personal collection. For example, when there are multiple shortcuts for the email of each person in the family, their individual photo is a great identifier. As things are now it seems I can only add another URL. I tried to add the URL from a family members Facebook page but it would not accept the link. Can some techno whizzz out there not make "drag and drop" an option? It would be REALLY useful for us all to have the photo of our choice, either a family person where appropriate, or a pet or whatever, or a friend. Thanks. Drag and DRop seems such such a common process now I cant think it would be difficult. Well....I wouldn't know where to start of course, but thats why this is a Help forum! Dear supporter, our firefox is managed by our company, while download file, not sure why some file type could not setup default option, due to no check box "Do this automatically for files like this from now on", could you share how to fix ? Thanks a lot.

For the last few days Firefox keeps dropping off as the default browser and seems to be defaulting to the Avast Secure Browser thats installed instead.

I keep changing it back via both Firefoxs settings and via Windows default settings but within 10 minutes it falls off again.

How can I make sure Firefox stays as my default browser?

Firefox, like most browsers, is full of jargon and terms which are never defined. So, for a new user, what should be simple become complicated. Developers obviously thought that everybody understands, but it is not true. It would be helpful if there was a term definition for each term and symbol used. I find my self in a kind of rabbit hole when trying to do things, and even when I ask for help, there is no term definition help.

Hi! I have more than one device for Audio connected to my laptop. Obviously the default device provide by laptop but also I have a Jabra Headset EVOLVE 20 SE MS and Jabra Speaker SPEAK 510 USB/ Bluetooth. Also my webcam Logitech C930e provide a microphone.

When I use Google Meet, in Chrome I can select on Meet Audio Device Select the different microphone or Speakers but in Firefox I can only select the Default System Speaker.

I would like to know how to change between my Audio Devices for the output or can switch between my different speakers.

Recently Roboform add-on has not been working with Firefox I have made several efforts to ensure that it works automatically filling in passwords as previously but the add-on does not seem stable, afte reloading it works briefly then stops again. Has anyone had this problem and found a resolution? Thanks
