Today I visited a website that I often visit which uses pdfs embeded onto the page using <iframes> but instead of the embeded pdfs appearing on the page, I was prompted with the download pop-up asking if I would like to open or save the pdf. If I choose open in firefox, it opens in a new tab (basically acting as if I had clicked a download link) - this happens automatically when I visit the page.

When I go to this site I just see a black frame where the embed should be, and am prompted to download/open the pdf. (screenshot attached)

I can't sign in to a Tracfone account (tracfone.com) I still have using FFx but I can with Edge. I think this problem started the last time FFx updated.

I have two (so far) websites, e.g. yahoo mail and Intuit, that tell me I need to update FireFox. (Can ignore only Yahoo.) However, I did one update, which blew away all of my add-ons, and I found that I was using latest version.

Does anyone have a solution? Are sites not accepting tracking and ad blocking now? I also use DuckDuckGo for search engine.

Would appreciate some words of wisdom on this.

Used to be my go-to browser; now I just use it to download stuff.

I often can't make online purchases whenever PayPal is involved; a pop-up window "doesn't," or a click-button is missing (like "complete purchase") or some such. I've had to fire up Chrome to make a purchase easily half a dozen times in the past several months to make a purchase.

NOW, it won't let me log in to my TracFone accounts, of which I have two. I use a password manager because it's impossible to keep track of 'em all. It fills in the fields correctly (I triple-verified this with my master spreadsheet of passwords), and I get an "invalid username or password" message every time, for either account. I can log in just fine with Chrome, same password manager.

I'm sure there's a fix, like flush the cache and delete all cookies and such, but really... I never used to have do to any of that, Firefox was rock solid and never gave me any grief, and then after some update was installed (can't say when), this stuff started up. It's starting to act like Windows, where I spend as much time wrestling with the OS as I do trying to use it (100% disk usage and other nonsense).

Am I the only one experiencing this kind of issue? Is there a bug-fix for any of it? If not, I'd like to submit one (two, if the paypal thing and the login thing have to be treated as separate problems).

I wonder if anybody else is experiencing problems with O’Reilly recently. I think the problem started more or less 2 weeks ago. The problem is that the page is not loaded at once, but more "on demand," that is, it loads once we scroll down (fig. oreilly_firefox_01). It takes like 1s or 2s to load to load the rest of the text (fig. oreilly_firefox_02). Maybe it's related with the last Firefox update. With Chrome it works as expected.

It's not a big issue, just annoying.

So there's a feature that Chrome has in that it can smartly detect which fields are search fields without having you to use bookmarks at all.

Wow. Tab to search websites. Works instantly out of the box.

Meanwhile, I can't even get any way to get Fandom wikis to be able to be searchable. No rightclick keyword on any page there works at all.

FIgure out what is causing my problem. WHen I am login site and click the login button nothing happens. Have checked extensions, run in safe mode but still no luck after the update before the last 3

This web site ' cornerstonegrp.securecafe.com/residentservices/carolina-club/userlogin.aspx'. The site tells me that password or pass code incorrect. In the past allowed me to continue to the main web page. At this time all of the add-ons are disabled. Cornerstone web site is the only site not recognizing login. Please help.

Several sites (PayPal and others) that I have always been able to access using Firefox are no longer accessible via Firefox (so I have to use a different browser for these sites). It was suggested to me to delete cache and cookies; I have done that-it made no difference

I am unable to watch series and movies through firefox browsers, I faced the issue initially on Netflix (date- 03/12/2021, it showed that there was a problem to play the video and to update the browser to latest version, when i checked the browser was all updated to date. The same issue is continuing today (date- 04/12/2021), and it is the same for Disney+Hotstar as well. Please fix this issue.

When visiting the site in firefox, it is said that the page is not found, or at least a portion of the page. When visiting in Chromium-based browser, the data are available normally.

Having problems getting verified for the Chase website through the latest Firefox browser. I've cleared the cache, performed a clean install etc. Cannot get it work. Any suggestions?

I have the latest version of the Firefox browser 95.0(64-bit). I can not open my Vanguard account using this browser. What needs to be changed to open Vanguard.com. Thank you.

Hi,

Firefox is not responding, not loading pages. It opens, but that is about it. If I start typing, it gives me suggestions, but then fails to load, even if I click on my bookmarks, nothing really happens. Even clicking on Settings, nothing happens. I tried with CCcleaner, restarted many times and closed firefox in Task manager. I would be so grateful for some help!

I have the latest Firefox, and use Little snitch always. Constantly, i get popups from LS, asking for FF to connect to sites that i have used previously. Many, and no apparent pattern. Please. How can i shut off this 'function' of FF pre-connecting, or whatever it is? Anyone else getting this?

I've been facing a constant screen freeze while browsing your Firefox website for 2-3 days. While other apps are working regularly, Firefox is running problematic and it's giving me trouble. When I click a link I have to wait for it to open. Why, I don't understand.
