My Firefox (version up to date) crashes frequently, without any meaningful error message, just "sorry". Sometimes crashed sites cannot be restored. This is particularly aggravating when it happens amidst a working process. I have no clue how to prevent this. Ideas welcome. Thanks to everybody in advance!. Thomas

I found old posts about this from 2012 or so, but nothing for current version of Firefox I have been using Firefox for years. This has suddenly started happening on my laptop. Annoyingly it also displays the same configuration pop-up with various screens you have to go through, clicking Skip this step before you can start browsing. I reset the Home Page to my preference. But next time I start Firefox it reverts to the Welcome and forgets all settings.

Although I have the mozilla as my default browser , it's not working as my default browser and every page opes by default with Microsoft Edge. Please help me. Thank you

I always watched movies/shows through Firefox browser. Lately some titles are playing back like stuttering, choppy, like skipping frames. This happens on Netflix only. In titles like for instance, "The Blacklist" and "The Juror". In Chrome, they work fine. It's just on Firefox. Something happened with Firefox in one of its latest updates.

это папка C:\Users\Илья\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\v2zudvil.default-release\storage\to-be-removed постоянно растет, удалять ее приходится вручную, почему так происходит? и как это избежать 

последний раз, когда удалял, это папка занимала 52ГБ

This is only a problem with Firefox, on Chrome it works perfectly fine. But for some reason, JSON.parse throws the error "Uncaught SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected end of data at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data". Is there any way to fix this or is this just a Firefox problem that I have to deal with?

For the last few days, I have noticed when I pause a YouTube video and move on to using other applications. Suddenly the video starts playing out of nowhere, this ghost action is irritating. Can someone please fix this issue?

on re-try, problem disappears using 136.0 Beta 5 last daily update 12 Feb 2025

How do I remove the focus border (outline/box-shadow) around text/input boxes firefox 135? I have it removed from the url search box, but not all pages visited. I have spent days trying to solve this unnecessary thing (for me at least). why is this so hard to change? none of the .css codes you can find on reddit work any more, evrything on the interweb is yearts old, there is nothing on here, and I have tried the about:config trick of: change: browser.display.focus_ring_on_anything to true Change: browser.display.focus_ring_width to 0 with no luck. can someone help? thanks, terry
