I need a more permanent fix to the disappearing bookmarks issue when the file is in use by another entity. I have tried to fix it, read the instructions and when I start to apply the fix, the instructions disappear and now I have to depend on my faulty memory.

Hi I keep getting this error on Firefox. I did disable all my extensions prior to this image shown to see if it was an extension causing an issue to no avail. I also looked for an update for Firefox and saw it was up to date. I also attempted to refresh Firefox which was a successful refresh however the error persisted. After refreshing I fully uninstalled Firefox and then reinstalled however the issue persists.

This error is shown however if I refresh the page sometimes the page freezes as if it lost connection and sometimes it reloads as per normal with the video playable.

I have no problem with Yahoo in Chrome. No problem with the Yahoo email mobile app.

I am not a Chrome fan, but It is not unusual for me to have to use Chrome to avoid random website behavior issues with Firefox.

Dell installed a command update and immediately afterwards, Firefox would no longer open, either from the taskbar icon or from settings/apps. I just get a couple of seconds of the blue cycle icon and then nothing, no error message, just nothing. I did download/install repeatedly but I don't get beyond the download screen - as soon as it's 100% downloaded, that's it, no welcome window, nothing. Thanks

When using Firefox on a Mac, how can we set the Mozilla VPN to one specific country for one tab only? There are instructions for doing so, but it's only applicable to Firefox for Windows.

Several websites are not loading their content since yesterday. YouTube has a message "Try searching to get started" and even when I open a video, it won't play. X.com is not loading content in the pages. So far it's those two.

I have Firefox reinstalled, it is not syncing bookmarks, history. I tried to import booksmarks from edge but it could not find the file or said it does not have any bookmakrs on it which was not true.

Why am I seeing this message on windows 11 and not on my windows 10 machine. I am still using th internet on both machines on the same network but you tube on W11 is constantly having to be refreshed. BRAVE works fine.

I reinstalled Firefox on my laptop after it crashed. I also have Firefox on my iPhone. The profile there is up to date. How do I sync that profile to the laptop installation?

About two years ago, I created an account on Mozilla, and by then I'd already set up two-step authentication using the app's Authenticator. But then I had to reset Windows and lost my backup keys and other stuff. Soon after, I experimented with other browsers and forgot about Firefox (I also deleted the Firefox profile in the Authenticator app). Now I've decided to log into my account, but since I can't log in without the app, I figured there's an option to log in using the email linked to the account (I have access to it), but for some reason, they're asking me for an account recovery key. So, I know my email address and have the password for it, but I can't log into my account without the Authenticator app. To try this alternative, I need to know the account recovery key, but I've lost it too. So, I'd be very grateful if anyone knows a solution to this problem. For reference, I also logged out of my Mozilla account on other devices and I haven't received any emails related to this situation (like checking email, etc.).

I set the about:config settings when I got the new computer early last year. It's been working fine. Suddenly, searches are popping up again to the urlbar.

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar is still set to false. Keyword.enabled is still set to false.

I see a couple of site references to browser.fixup.alternate.enabled, but it doesn't exist.

How do I get FF back to proper search in the search bar?
