Since the update a few days ago, Firefox is crashing and some sites such as Trust Pilot, do not work at all on Firefox. I know it is Firefox because it works fine with Chrome. Even Google Search does not work right.

What is the problem?

Prior to recent updates, Firefox tabs that were opened from a link on a webpage would always open right next to the current tab. Which was fine and wonderful. Sadly, following recent version updates new tabs opened from links now tend to 'wonder' off to the far end of whatever other links may have also been opened previously from that site. The problem with this new behaviour is that such tabs quickly become lost amongst the various branches of the tree as other links are opened in 'child' tabs of links that have gone before. In short, this new behaviour results in a complete confusing mess, especially as the newly opened tabs may end up so far off to the right that it's difficult to find the way back to the page they were opened from! Please could you at least provide an option so the user can set new links to open right next to the current tab, as they used to do, rather than some no doubt logical but nonetheless baffling and impractical location some 6, 21 or even more tabs away from the current tab. Since the latest upgrade to 111.0.1 i am unable to copy and paste passwords from IT Glue.

IT Glue has a button to copy details to clipboard and when I do a paste I get [object promise]

bold textI forgot my primary password on my PC and I have my account synced with my phone and i still have access to my passwords from my phone. can I reset the primary passsword on the PC then re- sync it with my phone to restore all the login information? or would it also get deleted from my phone?

I am new to Firefox and I have no idea if I have setup everything correctly to secure my PC? As a Pensioner I am finding this extremely difficult and have no idea where to or how to get to any of the pages in Firefox to check if I have correctly secured my PC? Please would someone be kind to take control of my PC and check for me please? I would be most grateful for you kind assistance herewith.

Everything that has an active state seems to have suddenly gained huge thick borders, usually grey or black. This applies to UI and page elements. I have no idea what happened, I'm guessing an update changed 'something', but how do I nondestructively fix it?

All webpages seem affected.

I am running FF v110.0 on Windows 10 (64). This version automatically downloaded and installed without my permission (I never allow any software to automatically update) - I found out about this a week or so ago. I've also reset the update settings to what they've always been.

Anyway, since that upgrade I am getting a blue box around whatever control I click on. This occurs on most web sites. I've tried the various suggestions from years ago (troubleshoot mode, about:config 'browser.display.focus_ring_on_anything' and 'browser.display.show_focus_rings' = false). This does not occur on any other browser and didn't occur on Firefox until the latest update.

How do I get rid of this? It is very annoying with several web sites I use daily.

I am trying to remove the "Other Bookmarks" folder from Firefox 111 on a Windows 10 PC. I have tried the fix from a couple of years back, using about:config and changing the entry from true to false. The item is still flagged as false but, despite restarting Firefox and then Window, the folder is still showing. How do I get rid of this, for me at least, unnecessary folder?

I am attempting to disable the Recent Bookmarks section from the bookmarks menu in Firefox Windows version 111. The main solution that's been suggested in the past is to use about:config and change browser.bookmarks.showRecentlyBookmarked to false.

This setting appears to be ignored in my version as changing it has no affect.

Any other steps?

Beginning with 111 when I start I get 'glxtest: failed to read data from glxtest, we may fall back to software rendering.' It works. I don't know that anything bad is happening.

Hello, as of this morning, none of the bookmarks I save on my android phone are syncing across to my PC. When I open my PC, I can see that sync is still working (as all open tabs on my phone are showing as open on the Tabs Pickup screen). I can see that several pages I bookmarked yesterday have saved without issue, so this is something that's happened today. I have my PC set to clear history whenever I close the browser, but I've manually cleared all history and cache. I've also manually synced. I've gone into settings and checked that Bookmarks are still selected as one of the things to Sync.

I have gone to about: sync-log and this is what I see:

I need to follow many hyperlinks. Everything worked fine and the followed hyperlinks changed from blue to purple. In the last 2 days, they stay blue. I have gone to settings and reset it multiple times, but the only way I can get the change is to make the screen high contrast, which I do not want. I have refreshed Firefox. I have the latest update (which might be what changed). What is the problem?

Yahoo Mail will no longer allow me to get to their site without I put them in both Tracking Protection Exception and Cookie Exception. Is there a way to stop them from this? I'm on a Mac Mini (2018) Intel. I have my "Settings" in "Privacy & Security" set to - Custom: Cross-Site Tracking Cookies and Isolate other Cookies. I have had it set this way or similar with Yahoo Mail and all other sites for probably over 15 years.

I would be really helpful if the Multi-Account Container differentiate the "always open in" feature based on the URL, and not just the host, which is what I'm guessing is the case.

For example, I'd like to have two different containers:

• example.org/foo # Container 1
• example.org/bar # Container 2

The use case is for localhost in development.

The file you are supposed to download on page "https://www.support.xerox.com/en-us/content/146849" gives a webpage with trash, where it should open the download window . I know it's Firefox because I tried downloading that file via Opera browser and that succeeded . Dowloading zip files from the Xerox website gave no problem, only DEB files .

im getting unknown issuer on my thin-clients with a FF ESR 45.9.0. This FF is tied to the OS (Ubuntu 16.04) and the OS is the most recent compatible version for our version of the thin-clients. So yeah its super old and I'm not able to update any of this. There is no security.enterprise_roots.enabled option available. What would be the best way to solve this issue for ~400 clients. When I'm using the kayosports.com.au video streaming service website on Firefox (version: 110.0.1) the right arrow button to navigate the media content shelf rows so that I can see what else is streaming does not register when clicked with the mouse. Previously I was using version 109 of Firefox and the same bug was happening with that version as well.

When using the kayosports.com.au website on Brave Browser the right arrow button responses just fine when clicked with the mouse, just not with Firefox.

I'm using Windows 10 21H2 on a Desktop PC.
