Ich nutze Firefox weil ich keine Werbung/Tracking/Span sehen will. Nach dem Update auf V128 ist unter den Datenschutz-Einstellungen die Option "Websites erlauben, datenschutzfreundliche Werbe-Messungen durchzuführen" aktiv.

My email application is zmailcloud.com from Cloudiance. It has worked fine for me for years using Firefox. However, in the last week or so, when I open an email message, I cannot see anything but empty "From"and To" fields. Nothing is in the body of the message, either (see attached screenshot). But, if I open a reply or forward message, everything in the original message appears normal (see other screenshot). This problem does not occur using Micrsoft Edge, only Firefox. Anyone have any suggestions???

I just updated to version 131.0 and now my menu buttons in the top left no longer work. When I say Menu buttons I'm referring to the Menu Bar which includes File,Edit,View,History,Bookmarks,Tools,Help. All the buttons are dead and if I hover my cursor over "File" it says "List all tabs". If you look real close at attached screen shot you can see that there is a little square sitting over the word "File".

I often use the Sync function to bring open tabs over from my smartphone to my desktop computer. I have noticed over the past month or so, this functionality has become increasingly unreliable and sometimes does not function at all. At the moment I have no synced tabs showing on my desktop. I have signed out and back in to Mozilla on both my smartphone and desktop multiple times, checked the sync settings, and nothing seems to resolve this. There have been a couple Firefox updates on both the desktop and mobile side, none of which have changed this behavior.

Has anyone else been experiencing this? What other trouble shooting steps can I perform? Any help is much appreciated.

I've always had an informative single line "bar" at the base of my screen indicating available/open programs, USBs, etc. I don't know what it's called. I don't know why it disappeared today. And . . . I'd appreciate help it getting it to reappear (and learning the correct terminology.) Although in my 90s, I try to keep up with technology as much as possible. Thanks for your help.

sign in wants code. my google authenticator not giving correct code to sign in. only can sign in with google acct to post to ask a question.

so need to suggest use a text as I am confused with phone google authenticator. like to turn off this step. so can sync. reinstall ff and old bookmarks show up.

I'm receiving the following errors on my Firefox browser: Procedure entry point & couln't load XPCOM. I still have the old icon on my laptop, but I downloaded a new icon/app, and it doesn't have any of my passwords or favorite pages. Is there any way to access my old Firefox browser?

1.)Firefox 128, pressing enter into an empty search box no longer loads the default search engine website? How to reset previous search engine settings? 2.) I also noticed in firefox 128: I've noticed that you can no longer delete previous searches from the search field. Previously you could use the arrow keys to navigate, then press the shift or option key (varies by platform) in combination with Delete to remove old entries.

I am increasingly finding that websites of all sorts load but I can't click on hyperlinks to other pages. Reloading the page or restarting doesn't help. I also can't type in boxes, which means I can't log in to a number of sites.

This problem does not occur in 'troubleshoot mode'.

In a linked problem, there is a webpage I use often which simply won't work properly - most of the content is absent. Again, if I use 'troubleshoot mode' it works fine.

Any ideas?

I have two Firefox windows open, one on my Macbook Pro and one on my external monitor. When I click a link in Obsidian, Firefox always opens it in the laptop's window. Is there a way to configure Obsidian (or maybe Firefox) so that links open in the Firefox window on my external monitor?

Going to about:config and setting browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled to false does not work.

It's just there, doesn't matter if I have one tab or many.

I do not think requiring end users to go into CSS back end options for a simple removal of one piece of ui that is in the way is good enough.

I've had trouble with this in the past where logging into Ring won't let me get past my user name/email address. I can hit enter, reload the page, try using tab but nothing works. Then for some unknown reason it will go forward to the password. But this time it just won't let me proceed no matter what I do, the continue option stays grayed out. I can sign on using Edge but I don't want to use Edge or even have a second browser open just so I can see my security camera. I want Firefox to work correctly.

Google search engine suddenly stopped working on my Firefox app on my laptop. Please tell me how to fix this. I have already checked settings and Google is the preferred/default search engine.

Hello. How do I do if I want Firefox to open a new window every time I click on the icon? I tried to insert the command "-new-window URL", which used to work before but it doesn´t anymore. Is there anybody out there who knows something about this?

I am running very high CPUs with firefox and it is keeping my computer very warm even when the lid is closed and it should be sleeping and it seems to be the reason my battery life is so short - no more than an hour or two at most.

Hi, on my husband's laptop (but not mine!) when he does a Google search in Firefox, he sees the search text (e.g., "funny cat videos") in the address bar, not the URL for the Google search. He used to be able to copy the search URL to share it with people, but isn't able to do that anymore (except from the History section, which is a bit of a pain.)

I searched the Internet for solutions and someone suggested "Show search terms instead of URL on default search engine results page" in Settings, but I can't find that setting anywhere! Any pointers about either finding that setting or another way to get back to what he had before?

The attached image shows what he WANTS to see, instead of the search text. This works fine for me!

for me, about:profiles currently shows my profile in use as:

Profile: Joey This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted. Default Profile yes Root Directory C:\Users\Joey\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7agyzsl4.Joey 10 Local Directory C:\Users\Joey\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7agyzsl4.Joey 10 1. why does it say "Profile: Joey" when the profile filename is "Joey 10"?

2. I want it to say "Profile: Joey 10", or for that value to MATCH the filename of the root or local directory.

    What do I need to do?
