firefox take a screenshot template?
Is there a way to edit the template to show just the subject title and the date? Or at least show those items first?

latest versions of firefox (now at 140.0.1) keeps opening onto my 2nd monitor which is off - how to stop it doing it. Tried making new profile which works for awhile, but sooner or later they all bump it to the 2nd monitor and it never comes back - tried moving to primary and closing it there, but next time back on #2. Open 2nd window while first is on primary, and that goes to 2nd monitor...

When assigning a URL to the mediaplayer object it started appending the current path to the URL. Did not do that in prior version. You can see it automatically puts the current browsing URL and then the URL that is assigned. So the file will not load. When using any Microsoft 365 product on the browser I keep getting a prompt to "Please sign in" although I am already signed in. I can click the Sign in button and a about:blank page pops up for a split second. Then within a half hour or so, it will pop up again. I deleted my cookies but the problem still persists. Does not happen on other browsers.

Hi everyone,
We’re testing scroll-linked animations on a landing page built with Tailwind and custom JS for our client project hosted at https://noveltyads.com. Specifically, we’re exploring the ViewTimeline API and CSS animation-timeline for a horizontal scroll section.
While everything works smoothly in Chromium-based browsers, we’ve noticed Firefox behaves inconsistently in the following ways:
The animation-timeline: view() property doesn’t always trigger on scroll as expected.
Debugging with Firefox DevTools, the animations don’t appear in the Animation panel at all.
We confirmed that no polyfills or fallbacks are interfering.
This is happening on a custom-built section on this live test page: https://noveltyads.com (it’s a mock client version for internal QA — nothing behind a paywall or login).
Has anyone experienced similar behavior with Firefox’s scroll-driven animations or ViewTimeline implementation?
We’d love to know:
Whether Firefox fully supports ViewTimeline (or still considers it experimental)
Any DevTools flags or settings needed to see scroll animations properly
If there's a better way to ensure cross-browser consistency using native APIs
Thanks a lot for your help and insights!

Ok so I usually choose these option to remember history and from time to time delete Browsing & download history and Temporary cached files and pages.
Note: I have "Open previous window and tabs" ticked in general settings which also has a restore previous session option in the history menu. This brings back previous session with tabs etc as is when I close FF. https://assets-prod.sumo.prod.webservices.mozgcp.net/media/uploads/images/2025-06-28-08-45-51-cf2daf.png
I thought I could automate this on exit but don't think its working right. So I change the option to "use custom settings for history" and tick all three options:
Remember browsing and download history Remember search and form history Clear history when Firefox closes For "Clear history when Firefox closes" I ticked Browsing & download history and Temporary cached files and pages. https://assets-prod.sumo.prod.webservices.mozgcp.net/media/uploads/images/2025-06-28-08-45-43-b10213.png
The issue is the restore session option is missing and FF opens with all previous tabs gone. I am frankly not even sure what else is missing such as cookies, site data etc. Is this meant to work like so?

I am using Firefox on Win 11, recently I have noticed a weird problem, on Ebay for example when a listing uses a drop down selection box for sizes, amounts etc none of them work for me, I click on the box and down arrow but nothing. I also went on to the Vodafone site to top up my phone but I was unable to do it as the drop down box to select the amount was empty. I have tried clearing my cache and even reloading Firefox but nothing seems to work, I just tried using Edge as well but its the same, suggesting that its maybe something to do with my settings?

Just switched from PC to Mac and miss the Page Up, Page Down, Home and End buttons. Wondering if there's a Firefox addon or extension to add these functions to a Macbook. I've searched but not found anything. I know I can't be alone in wishing for this!
(I am aware of using "Fn" and the arrow keys on a Mac to do page up and page down, but they are opposite sides of the keyboard and require both hands to scroll by page.)

I use a MacBook Air running on Sequoia 15.5. Firefox was updated several days ago to 140.0.2 (aarch64).
Since yesterday, Firefox has repeatedly stopped running. (It might have started sooner, but I didn't use the computer over the long weekend.) It won't load pages. Sometimes I get the spinning wheel. Usually, I have to force quit.
I've cleared the cache, restarted the browser, and restarted the computer repeatedly. Restarting the computer sometimes helps. Now is not one of those times.
Also, the About Firefox window is open, and the Checking for updates . . . wheel keeps spinning.
There are no connectivity issues otherwise with my computer or other apps.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Do I need to go back to the last version of Firefox? Uninstall/reinstall?

Any time I allow a website to use my location on my home computer, it places me in a suburb in Las Vegas. However, I live near Seattle. This happens on multiple websites including Google Maps and Uber Eats, and on other browsers my location is correct. I'm not running any VPNs or proxy servers, I've verified that my IP address is linked to my correct location, and I've deleted all cache and cookies ("Everything" for time frame) from my history. Is there a way I can have an accurate location again?
