Cannot access local address 192.168.1.1 which is the address of the GUI interface to my ISP Gateway settings menu. I need it to be able to make changes to the Gateway settings.

I use to get displayed "Advanced" that allowed me to continue forward to get to an "insecure site", only recently that has not been happening (so I am stuck).

Any suggestions, advice, and/or workarounds are appreciated.

My windows 7 hard drive crashed and I was able to recover most of the data but I am not able to find my old bookmarks from the old crashed drive into the new working drive. I currently have the crashed drive as a slave drive and can access folders but how do I transfer the old bookmarks to the newly installed hard drive?

131 installed. I now cannot read article in newspaper I subscribe to on line. Click 'read more 'and get warning notice pop up that I need to disable ad blocker or have no internet connectivity. Does not happen on Safari so not the newspaper or my Mac or the internet connection. Did happen trying to reach my bank account also. Did not happen before new version. I do not want to use SAFARI. IS this a bug in program? Is this because a few weeks ago I set no tracking feature and no selling data? Those seemed to have slowed performance but did not cause alert message preventing access. As elderly person, this is frustrating and scary and upsetting. Help appreciated. Wish Firefox had a place where users like me could list this sort of problem so we could feel like Firefox knew what we were experiencing when new version happens.. I have tried everything. Cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, deleted outlook off of my computer, got rid of adblock. Nothing is working. I get the 500 error with the page refreshing over and over before that.

Firefox users used to be able to create multiple tab rows with Tab mix plus but that has since disappeared. Then there was a script you can use to create the same effect, but since the update to version 131.0 - this has also disappeared.

Why can't this option be added to the tab settings within Firefox? I can imagine that many users would love to see this back.

PS: alternatives such as "tab trees" are not the solution. Just multiple rows!

Just starting up Firefox on my Windows 11 desktop initiates 9 firefox processes - see attached. Is there anyway to reduce the number of processes and the memory they seem to occupy by possibly going into the Windows registry and making changes to any Firefox configuration settings? If I dont get a satisfactory solution I will have to uninstall Firefox and use the default MS Edge which is not my preferred browser choice.

Is there a way I can go back to the previous version? This latest update has really slowed my computer in loading everything. It is very frustrating. This is not the first time an update has broken things.

I just started getting this error:

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.newsmax.com.

I cannot find how to make this stop. I will get emails from Newsmax about articles and if there is something I want to read I click on the link in the email. I never had a problem with Firefox not opening the link. This just started and I can not get the link to open. I have Newsmax set up as a home setting. However, after I got the Secure Connection Failed error, I could not open the Newsmax web page even if I typed in www.newsmax.com. I am about to uninstall Firefox and use another browser. Can you please tell me how to fix this?

Greetings. I have Windows 10 and Firefox for my browser. Has worked very well for many years but now I have a problem with Google search. Normally when I do search on Google and get the results I can click on a link and it will open in a new window(tab). 3 days ago I noticed that when I clicked on the link after search the site would open in the existing window. I checked my settings in Firefox and they appear to the untrained eye to be normal. I did go to the settings in Google and noticed that the "open results in a new window" was disabled. I enabled the option (no save function was available) and did a search again. This time it worked as I had hoped opening in a new window. This worked for a few hours and then once again noticed the problem. I went back to the Google settings and once again it was disabled. I enabled it and then worked fine. It continues to disable this function to open results in a new window after a few searches. Not sure if this problem is with Google or Firefox. I apologize for the length of this question but am trying to provide as much info as possible. I very much would appreciate any assistance regarding this .. Thank you

Other software I use show a logo in the upper left window corner or program name in the title bar or both. Firefox and MS Edge show neither. When both are open I can't tell from a glance which is which. If I remember correctly, in days gone by Firefox showed its logo in the title bar. Is there any setting to turn this on?
