I need to fora a scrollbar on a page that "pops up" but lacks scrollbar

handelsbanken ( owner of the page) is not helpful

I need to use one website that has an out of date certificate. I found out about adding the hostname to security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts in about:config.

However, Firefox keeps clearing that setting when I'm not looking, sometimes in the same session! How can I make it persist?

My screen went black this morning and I couldn't get the screen to reappear. I turned the power off, then waited a minute or two before turning it back on. My usual screen with all the apps was gone and replaced by a generic "windows" screen. I had to re-enter all kinds of information and I'm finally able to see my bookmarks, but all of my documents and pictures stored on my computer are completely gone. Did Mozilla/Firefox perform an update? And if so, how do I get back to my personalized screen - and more importantly my stored documents and pictures?!!

I want to access a banking site (Capitec.co.za) but am unable to land on their splash page - I just get a blank page, and wait. I can get access via TOR or Opera. I was told to enter using SAFE MODE "Shift+R+Firefox". Anyone know what the issue is? Without guessing. Windows on Thinkpad.

My searches (regardless of Engine) are coming up in Russian. I don't speak Russian. It does not seem to be the search engine, and does not happen in Chrome, only Firefox.

Regular UK Based Firefox user since long time. I changed my broadband provider from BT to Sky. Since then unable to connect to Internet using firefox. I was facing the issue with Firefox 128.0.3 and today I downloaded firefox 129.0 and the issue continues. When I put any URL I get a "Server not found" message. It is even there for firefox.com site

Hello- seriously doubt there is any help for this, but I can't be the only one this has happened to:

I wanted to delete the last 2 hours of a firefox session only- the session has been ongoing for a month, with 100 of what were - to me- important tabs open. Session Restore on FireFox was turned on and it always works.

But tonight, I wanted to delete only about last 2 hours of history. So I thought to use the FORGET button. I set the app to 'forget' the last 2 hours of browsing history. And hit the button. and: ALL tabs- All tabs- every one for last month- Gone in a blink. Gone.

Perhaps the onus is, at least inn part, on me: This exact issue happened to me before- but I guess i had cast that soul-killing memory out of my mind; at least, till a few years later, tonight, when it just happend again.

But- It's been years !! And the forget button is still a catastophic trap, still luring fools like me, hiding in plain sight as a button on FF toolbar. That's true- right on the toolbar is a helpful, harmless-looking button that can ruin your life.

A catastrophy that has been built into FireFox for years- and still not fixed.

I did think that if the button had a problem years ago - and in a different version of Windows [last time it happened I was using XP], must be fixed by now- Honestly- I did think that.

-Has anyone else experienced this utterly demoralizing experience with FireFox "forget"?

-Is there any hope to recover the last session? [There are NO Profiles at all now, saved in the "Profiles" folder]

Again- any hope? Anyone else have this problem?

It's been years! Why is this MAJOR minefield even still prosperng in Firefox?

Hello, I have Firefox 128 installed on Window10 Pro v. 22H2 fully up to date. I have LastPass: Free Password Manager extension in my Firefox.

Up until 2 days ago I had an icon on my toolbar for the LastPass extension that I could click after opening Firefox to login to LP. It has worked fine for years. It was that way when I shut down my computer that night. The next morning when I opened FF, that icon was gone. LP still shows in my Add-ons manager as Enabled. To the best of my knowledge, nothing on my comp updated in that time period.

I tried clicking the 'Extensions' button in the FF toolbar, but all it did was to open the "Recommendations" tab of my Add-ons manager. Previously, clicking the 'Extensions' button in my toolbar would show a menu of extensions including LP. I would get an option to show an LP icon in my toolbar. That worked as recently as a few weeks ago when I wiped my hard drive and did a fresh install of Windows.

I tried removing and reinstalling the exension. It made no change. Next I fully removed Firefox with the Remove Programs option in the Windows control panel, then removed all traces of FF in my Windows user profile. Then rebooted. Then DL'ed Firefox fresh from the FF site and re-installed it. Twice. No icon shows up, and the 'Extensions' button continues to do nothing but send me to the 'Recommendations' tab of the add-ons manager.

I had a few other extensions installed as well as LP at the time this problem arose. But when I re-installed Firefox, I only installed LP and tried to get its icon showing before installing any other extensions, just to be sure there was no conflict.

Can you offer any suggestions to help?
