I have a task bar at the bottom of my screen -- or I used to. Ever since I installed a Norton protection program several says ago, the task bar shows up sometimes and other times, it is gone and I cannot access it. When it's there, it gives me access to the websites I'm using, all my written files and picture, video and other files, volume control and other options. I NEED TO SEE AND USE THIS TASK BAR ALL THE TIME, NOT SOME OF THE TIME WHEN FOR SOME REASON IT'S THERE. AGAIN, I WANT TO ACCESS THIS TASK BAR ALWAYS WHEN I'M ONLINE.

When watching something on Youtube and I click on the coloured download icon, I get to be able to click on the title of the video. A blue 1 appears in the download icon. When I click again, then click on the blue 1 to watch the download. Nothing happens. The window just sits there and states 'downloading', but it does not happen. This happened last year and you managed to fix it; now Youtube seem to have blocked downloading again. Geoffrey D Dean, Australia.

After updating to FF 114, I noticed that my history and cookies were no longer being cleared according to my settings. Also, a particular page is now being opened as a pinned tab.

I reverted to FF 113, hoping that this would be fixed in 115. Today I tried 115.0.3, and history is still not being cleared. I have again reverted to FF 113.

I am on Windows 10. My history settings are to use Custom settings and clear history when Firefox closes. Cookie settings are to delete cookies and site data when FF closes.

Is there any intention to fix, or is this some new behavior that I am stuck with? Also, is there a way to clear the pinned tab behavior?

6/30 - I GET RESPONSES BUT NO LEGIT EMAIL ADDRESS TO RESPOND

OS: Mac OS 10.14.5 Firefox Version: 113.0.2

Settings gives me multiple options for handling a .pdf file. The first three are (1) Open in Firefox; (2) Always ask; and (3) Save File.

If I select "Open in Firefox," the file will open in my existing window. If I select "Save File," the file downloads to my desktop.

The problem arises when I select "Always ask." If I then select "Open in Firefox," the file opens (in a new tab!) and simultaneously downloads to my desktop!

Is this a system glitch, or am I somehow doing something wrong?

Hello - Firefox to Safari bookmark syncing used to work seemlessly between pc and ipad. Noticed it's no longer working. I've done all the resetting/restarting/logging out/uninstalling/reinstalling recommended. It still won't sync. I ended up installing Firefox on the iPad to get the bookmarks from PC. That sync works (takes a while sometimes). But it will not ever update the IOS from the last time it worked (maybe 3 months ago). I can erase IOS bookmarks and reload from iCloud, but the files are months old.

Has this function just been removed?

Hi! My windows suddenly encountered problems and I had to reinstall it, but after reinstalling win and Firefox and logging into my account, none of my data loaded to the new Firefox. Please help, for me, loosing that much of bookmarks and passwords, is just like a matter of death and life.

I am using Version 113.0.2 (64-bit) and trying to access a home camera system, mydlink.com. When I go to log in there, it tells me "You are using an unsupported browse.....We recommend you use Firefox 12-51/52 ESR on Windows" Can I get this version? What options do I have? Thanks, Ed Corcoran

I've had nothing but problems with iCloud - usually it's text being unable to be displayed in Notes on iCloud.

I have a lot a devices. I would like the majority of settings/etc to be synced with my account but I would also like to be able to have some add-ons excluded. For example I use Persepolis download manager for the devices that support it but not all my devices support it. Result is I have to toggle active addon every time I switch devices as it syncs.
