I use TD Easyweb to access my bank information. No matter what changes I make to Firefox settings nearly every page prompts me to 'Manage online experience' and if I go to manage the 'experience' Performance and Targetting are on. I always set them to off but the prompt keeps coming back. I used the same page with Chrome and Edge. Chrome didn't prompt at all. Edge prompted but then seemed to remember my response. This suggests that the issue is with Friefox

Firefox is displaying menus IN CONTENT (not the Firefox hamburger) as hamburgers when they are supposed to be full text menus. Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome display these menus IN THE CONTENT correctly. Firefox is turning them into burgers.

This is happening with a website I own. It started when I changed ONE side menu on ONE web page to a hamberger. Firefox then began displaying ALL menus on ALL pages as drop-down burgers. The other two browsers did not engage in this stupidity.

Hi! When I start browser it took a long time in search engine to find a result. And sometimes not find anything at all. It simply stops searching and the page seems to freeze. Furthermore, in the settings it says that "Your browser is being managed by your organization" and I don't know what that means or which organization it is. There is some document on the link and that's it.

As you can see from the screenshot i provided and as you can read from subject of this very annoying issue Firefox new 130 update has changed my URL bar and now stuff are missing to the point that links to Outlook and some other stuff that were in address bar URL because i wanted them there and now they place has been taken by namely foxovizija.blogspot.com and watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com and ajax.nl/shop just because i watched few episodes of fools and horses on that link same goes for foxovizija and browsed some items in ajax fan shop! I WANT DOES LINK GONE FROM MY URL so i can put links that i want to be in there and FF 130 address bar being populated by only the links i want to be there and stay that way! and one more thing i want to get rid of that ugly search with google thing because i don't even use google,further more once all of a sudden in FF 130 MY BROWSER IS MANAGED BY MY ORGANIZATION ? That was never there before this update ,so with all that has been said and screenshot as proof i beg you and plea on your kindness and knowledge to give me guidance how to fix this URL thing first,then how to remove THIS BROWSER IS MANAGED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION and last but not least how to block further FF updates because every new update is worse then the next and just keep pushing the whole browser down the drain ! For the past couple of months, FF has been running insanely slow. It takes several minutes for webpages to load. My full-fibre broadband is up to speed, I've cleared the cache numerous times, I've disabled most of my extensions, I'm running the latest version, and I only have 5-6 tabs open max.

When things are really slow, the task manager shows that FF is using huge amounts of memory, with more FF processes showing that I have tabs open.

According to a thread last year, Malwarebytes Browserguard was slowing FF down. Is this still the case? If so, what non-slowing alternative do you recommend? I don't want to turn it off until I have another one installed.

How to make links/search/suggestions opened in new tab (middle click) from the URL/Search bar to open in background and not switch immediately.

I already toggled the following settings to "true" - browser.search.context.loadInBackground - browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground - browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground - browser.tabs.loadInBackground

Background new tabs only works for links in the page & bookmark bar. I would like to know how to make it work if links are opened in new tab from the URL/search bar.

How can I disable the toolbar when using Firefox PDF Reader? I found some info here:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1119523. But maybe there is easier way this can now be done? I would like to disable the toolbar only for viewing PDF in full screen mode. Thank you

So basically i had done what i need to do base on the advice in

i had added chrome file in the profile folder and done all as the picture shown below

after that i do about:config make legacy -> false to true, i do a restart my windows and check on profile folder it change to .... Firefox\Profiles\*censored*.default-release

• i censored it afraid that it was a important information (im not a techno guy)

but it doesnt change a thing. i was playing diep.io and agar.io whenever i hover it to the top it still poppin up

any suggestion?

I don't like the new layout of Shortcuts. The "Add Shortcut" slot always disappears whenever I clear my history or have "remember history" disabled in settings so I can't add more pins if I wanted to.

How can I get the old, previous layout back?

When I try to log-in on a website using google it tries to open a pop-up windows but it instantly gets closed. I have disabled all my adblockers and the pop-up blocking in the settings. When i try to do it the console says "Failed to open popup window on url: (the url) Maybe blocked by the browser?"

since some updates the video display in full screen mode darkens my second screen. but i still want to be able to watch videos in full screen mode on both screens. how do i set this?

I am trying to re-enable sofascore notifications but in permission panel just seems cookies not notification permissions. I tried to forgot site and delete cookies but it didn't work. How can i solve this?

The Firefox Icon has somehow been replaced by a white rectangle containing a smaller blue rectangle inside of it. See screenshots showing the shortcut on my desktop as well as in the task bar. What happened and how do I fix this? I have spent hours multiple days trying to find answers on the web and on my machine. Please help. Thank you.

Clicking on a toolbar shortcut, each selection overwrite the existing open tab instead of opening a separate tab. For Example, I opened Facebook and then LIRR, the image below only shows the LIRR tab. The same thing happens in Chrome.

(I was in Customize Toolbar earlier but didn't touch the shortcut tabs and they all still display. If I open a shortcut from my desktop, they open in separate tabs just not from custom toolbar). Images below displays my current settings in what I thought may help.

I unchecked FF tab settings, Rechecked FF Tab Settings, went to Task Manager and ended FF task, Restarted multiple times, checked for FF updates, ran Malwarebytes Antivirus and Windows Defender, nothing seemed to fix.

Help please, not a super technical person. :P

I can't browser anything, I have tried to restart the laptop, restart the browser, re-install the browser. Nothing works, It even crashes in Troubleshoot Mode.

1) When I put firefox on snap layout (half and half), the tab bar seems too small. Is there a way to lengthen it? 2) Is there a way to hide tab bar and url bar, excluding fullscreen mode? Thank you.

I'm looking for answers. For several weeks now, Firefox has been unable to start, and other programs are hindered upon launch.

After shutting down, I have to start Firefox 130.x 2-3 times. The icon in the Dock doesn't respond, followed by a crash report.

PDF Expert 2 also won't start unless Firefox has been started at least 2-3 times.

After starting Firefox 2-3 times, it finally launches, as does PDF Expert 2. However, this can suddenly change again.

As long as Firefox is trying to start, many NON-Mac programs, but also WINDOWS programs like Word & Co., are unable to start.

And here's what I've tried:

- Completely deleted all affected programs - Reinstalled Firefox - Deleted Word and Co. (!) (still not installed) - Reinstalled PDF Expert 2 - Reset PRAM, started Firefox without add-ons, booted Mac in safe mode... everything the internet suggests - The Activity Monitor shows no irregularities (how can I explore?)

WHY is Firefox disrupting the entire Mac? What resources does the program use that causes other programs to be disrupted?

What is affected that prevents multiple programs from starting? WHERE can I at least read about this (logs)?

I have the same configurations on other Macs, and everything has been working fine for years, so it must be something with the MacBook Pro's system.

Reinstall the entire system? I doubt it will fix the problems since everything runs fine without Firefox.

Can anyone give me some clues?
