Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to verifiedlinks.org. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

The connection is that i clicked on what i would call an investment solicitation from an Outlook email i received from Eunice.io

There are a few clickable hot-links in my email that return same error code. They might be gathering a lot of digital data about me but otherwise i believe not 100% but 99% theyre safe THX,,, my email : [email removed]@LiVE.COM P.S. - if i input more than 255 characters in the "Please summarize your question in one sentence box : Please summarize your question in one sentence:" ,,, multiple attempts to correct that wont clear the error msg!!!,,, pass it on : )

For the past few days when I open Thunderbird I get a message "https://caldav.one.com is requesting your username and password." (see attachment). I've never signed up for Caldav so I don't have a username or password. If I hit "Cancel" it proceeds as normal. If I enter my email address and log-in password it also proceeds as normal. In either case I have to go through the same process every time I open Thunderbird.

Have tried different solutions like Malware product and cleaning cashe and cookies. When I search a known safe site I get redirect by Convertitmas stating the (known safe) site is unsafe. Best regards Henrik Nygaard

I just updated to the latest version of Mozilla FireFox and my bookmarks dissappeard.

All are gone, I wonder how I can get them back?

Why isn't there a simple means to remove/prevent searches for the address bar, using config doesn't work.

I've used Firefox for over twenty years, this annoyance will end that and force a move to Brave.

I have downloaded this plugin, but I cannot find any advice on how to operate it. I have opened a page (which I have created) rendering part of a high res iiif image, whose whole iiif pyramid is available for viewing. But I cannot find any button that activates the plugin.

The plugin promises "With this addon installed, you will be able to download the highest available resolution for files available on digital libraries compatible with the IIIF protocol."

How can I download the whole high res image?

Something horrible and time-consuming has changed within this past week to Thunderbird. My version is 140.7 1esr 64bit. Over the past 4 days or so, I've found I cannot scroll down and see the full emails--until I have to use this new pop-up system.

This is definitely not an improvement in my estimation. Is there any way to undo this?

Hello! The other day everything worked as usual, and I shut down the computer for the night. The next morning, Thunderbird immediately crashed/shut down when starting each of the 2 profiles I always use. The 3rd profile, which is the default-release running a different email, still seems to work normally. Thunderbird 115.10.1

I have tried Windows (10) safe mode, as well as thunderbird Troubleshoot mode and working offline, but the issue continued to occur.

I'm at a loss now as to what could cause 2 profiles to suddenly cause it to crash. By the way, one profile is for a gmail account and the other one is for an Outlook account, so they don't seem to be related.

In case it helps, there were 2 Microsoft Visual C++ programs installed or updated, and updates to Microsoft 365 and Google Drive just before the problem started. These were all auto updates in the background.

Any help from the Community would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My Thunderbird crash whenever I tried to "save as" an email, save the attachment of an email, attach a file to an outgoing email.

Every time I did the mentioned, Thunderbird prompts the normal window of my laptop's folders, but it disappear in a second with the Thunderbird crash and quit.

This situation happened after I installed MS365 on my laptop.

I did try the below: 1. Reset attachment directory - mail.compose.attach.dir 2. Run in trouble shooting mode 3. Repair folder index 4. Clear cache

Anyone can help please?

I've been searching for three days now for a solution that will work to restore my profile from a crashed windows-7 machine to my new windows-11. Nothing listed in any forum or help desk works as described. I used to be able to just rename the folder to the exact file name on the new PC, but windows 11 won't let me do anything. It always needs admin permissions and even after I activated the admin account and assigned a password, I still cannot copy to the folder or rename the folder. Every attempt to do this on W-11 fails. It shouldn't be that hard and I'm tired of wasting days playing with this. I have important bookmarks, passwords etc. I want restored, and I need help. Nobody wants to pick up a phone anymore to assist!

I have never used "sync" because I have multiple PCs and each used for different applications and yes some go back to W-7, the operating system that actually worked well. Each PC has Firefox and a distinct bookmark file.

I went to "about:profiles" and created a new profile thinking I could copy to the new folder, but when i switched profiles I couldn't get back to the original default! HELP!

I now have 2 accounts in Thunderbird: Local (which has years of folders, but stopped receiving email from my Web mail provider) and my webmail Provider that does not download it from the provider. He claimed it is more modern and safer to synchronize across all devices and keep stuff on the web Mail application. I prefer to keep all my folders and emails on my local computer. Should I use POP? iMAP? to do that? Thanks for your assistance?'
