Hey Guys,

since 2 days i got a problem with firefox respectively my firefox theme. I used that theme for more than 1 year and i didnt change anything since then. neither firefox settings nor theme things. Since 2 days after opening firefox the background of the search field and the url field are suddenly getting transparent after like 10 minutes of using firefox. if i close firefox and open it again, everything is normal again. and after like 10 minutes the same thing happens. how can i fix this issue?

Thank you in advance!

Thanks for all of your help! The Creator of that theme changed its style, that's why these fields are now transparent. My Firefox seems to have had problems with the change.

I deleted the theme and reinstall it. After that I changed those fields manually with userchome.css. Now everything is fine :)

Hi,

I think it is necessary to perform a refresh to delete the old code which is useless

thank's

Does this happen with other lightweight theme as well?

Does this happen when you open specific websites or pages or always after this specific time?

Maybe this is a problem with some pages opening a pop-up in a tab.

There are specific prefs present on the about:config page to prevent a website from disabling some feature.

  • dom.disable_window_open_feature

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
