Hello, sorry for the question but I can't solve it alone

My issue : I think my emails have been deleted. Its something like 500mb of content.

I'm on Windows 10; on 128.9.2esr version for Thunderbird.

You see how the path is structured: account@mail.com/inbox/... I moved my mails folders into the folder account@mail.com (instead of account@mail.com/inbox/) Closed thunderbird Restarted thunderbird

All folders at account@mail.com/ disappeared.

I tried to find them. I created a folder named "TestAccountFindThunderbird" I moved account@mail.com/inbox/TestAccountFindThunderbird into account@mail.com/TestAccountFindThunderbird Closed thunderbird Restarted thunderbird "TestAccountFindThunderbird" disappeared as well

and making a research on C:\ drive I managed to find TestAccountFindThunderbird.msf inside the folder at C:\Users\<my_account>\AppData\Local\Temp\MozillaMailnews

At the same place I found also the other things that disappeared from my mail account Health.msf, Apple.msf, Work.msf, Insurances.msf, Bank.msf, ... But they are all .msf files...

I saved them into a backup folder. Then I copy pasted all that content from backup to INBOX.sbd but when I open Thunderbird in a blink they are all removed. I guess its because they are .msf and not actual content.

1) Why when I move a mail folder into account@mail.com/ then the folder disappears/is deleted? 2) Where are my emails? And how do I reimport them? 3) Why do I have traces of them into AppData\Local\Temp\MozillaMailnews?

I have filters set up to file emails to a second IMAP server email account. The filters are set up to copy then delete the email as the source is Gmail. When I get two emails in a row that match the same filter, the first email copies and then deletes as the filter specifies. The second email does not copy but does delete. The filter logs show that both copy and then delete.

Thunderbird: Tools: Message Filters: I am trying to block all spam emails that begin with "admin@," but those spam emails are not blocked. I use "from" and "contains" admin@. How can Message Filters be set up to block any email from (begins with) "admin@"? Thank you.

When I transferred my mail from one computer running win10 to another running win11 with replacing ssd, the letters in the folders first opened and I can look at their contents, but then when I open the letter in the folder it shows me an empty window. Moreover, when new letters come from the server, they get into the folders according to the rules and do not open either. I use pop3 connection protocol Help me, what should I do to transfer my account without errors, I can post reports?

Years ago I created a local folder D:\mail for old mails nice to have, but not needed on the server. It works very well. But it seems that it is no longer possible to create a folder like that, separate from the rest. It seems that a new folder should either be created under the general mail account or under Local folders. So is this type a left over thing, no longer possible, but for a while maintained for compatibility?

Need help with TB for Android. Downloaded the app; used QR code to transfer data. Everything transfered quickly. However, I cannot receive email. Can't find any general settings that address this issue. Have used TB (Beta) on my laptop for quite awhile and have no problems with it.

I deleted the email messages in the trash folder but the program also deleted all the messages in the inbox. How can I recover the messages that were in the inbox?

Internet provider account info is correct. Thunderbird password is stored. Current profile is known. Inbox shows 0 messages. It showed 246 earlier today. Other sub-folders have messages. C: drive only has 2.68 GB available. Have been deleting old emails, but suddenly cannot delete any more. There is also a sub-folder named inbox; this seems unusual. It shows 2816 messages, but none of them show up in the right pane.

Since the last update, I cannot send emails that include a URL link. If I do I get a mail failure message. I contacted my web hosting company and they think it has something to do with Thunderbird because if I go online and send the email through web email the message goes through without any issues.

Please tell me how I can correct this as I prefer to use Thunderbird.

Using Thunderbird for Android on a Chromebook, I can't see any text formatting controls in the Compose window. Like bold, lists, etc. I've tried in Portait, Landscape, and Resizeable.

How do I export my address book from TB128 (Windows 10 desktop) to TB for mobile (Android)? So far TB for mobile (just installed) shows only an arbitrary, short selection of addresses from old emails.

I am facing the following problem. When I delete an email and it moves to the Trash folder, Thunderbird no longer displays inbox emails. Trash folder is displayed after archives folders. After restarting Thunderbird, it is restored again. I did an inbox folder repair, but it did not help. Then I deleted the Inbox.msf file and waited for the system to recreate it, but that did not help either. I also did compact folders ->general -> Disk space, but that did not help either. If I want to use the program, after each email moved to the trash, I have to restart Thunderbird. Please, I need help with solving this problem.

what is going on either i send an email receive an email an it either goes to inbox with lA BLACK line through it and i have to hit undelete or it goes right to trash not sure i have it configured correctly what going on with thunderbird this is in box now out going next what is happening iam not sure whats going on i need help please

Hello, I have two problems with Thunderbird. First, I need to attach a file from a shortcut but it attaches the shortcut itself, it doesn't open it to choose my file from it. The problem appeared after I migrated from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Second problem, the PDF files in the attachments are listed as blank sheets, I should mention that I use a Xerox B8155 printer. I experience an issue, where opening and/or saving .ics calendar files attached in the emails is not possible. Instead it is opened or saved as text or HTML. There is no issue on using another mail clients/webmail. Is this common issue or only from my mail provider? (infomaniak)

my sister send email through a phone and instead of it going to my in box it goes directly to trash why is all my messages from family going to trash I think i have it set up correctly but it does not connect in the in box why the photo i sent is from the rash bin i do not see it in the in box and i tried doing that but it does not move none of my family email is going into inbox do i need to reinstall thunderbird?
