Why doesn't Firefox allow TunnelBear to be installed as an extension?

When I search the list of add-ons for TunnelBear, I cannot find it. Neither does there appear to be a way of manually adding it.

Hi, there is a Extension by the Makers of TunnelBear : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/anonymous-16f85ffa28b4376a0c8456bdac97db08/

There is a lot of VPN's available : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?platform=linux&q=VPN

I would imagine that TunnelBear can not meet the requirements of being a Extension : https://www.howtogeek.com/333230/why-firefox-had-to-kill-your-favorite-extension/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
