I got a new desktop computer and can't access firefox. My existing account is still under my old email ([edited] @q.com) and has been decommisioned. My new email is [edited] @myctl.net. I cannot sign in because I forgot my password for q.com which no longer exists, so I can't receive an email to change password. I am at a loss how to fix this... Can you help me please. I had sent you my new email back a few months ago so I thought it had been changed to myctl.net but it is not. help please, I am so frustrated. thx for your help

I am sorry to hear that.

Firefox Support cannot manually change your email or reset passwords for you.

Soo.. to get your data back, you only have two options:

1. If you do have a device that is already signed in to firefox, do not sign out, on the old device (Let's assume that it's a mobile): Click on three dots, click on your account, and then "Manage Account & Devices", and then just change your account email to the new one.

Or...

2. When you set up your account, you are gaven a security recovery key of 32 characters, if you still have it, you can use it to sign in and bypass email verification.
