Is Firefox aware that when authoring e-mail in Microsoft Word, then copying them into the BT e-mail, all the control characters are transferred with it the ASCII text. I have checked with other people, and it is not just my machine. I now have to copy the e-mail into notepad first then copy to email, to just get the ASCII characters in the email.

For the last two months since November 2023), log-in to the Wells Fargo online bank site no longer goes past the log-in page. If I use Edge log-in works fine. I use private browsing on Firefox, but I always have. I have Firefox password enabled, but I always decline to use it for online banking when it pops up (and it doesn't matter if I accept it, still no log-in on Firefox).

I don't want to use Edge but Firefox no longer is working on this task for me.

when I'm on sites playing games, i.e. face book, I keep getting this across the bottom of my screen:

How can I disable it? I can't take a screen shot because if I place my mouse on it, it skips to another place on my screen.

Hello, every once in a while Firefox on my Win 10 PC resets bookmarks, logins and saved tabs to ones that I used several weeks/months ago. I also remember that it once switched back to a newer instance a few days after switching to and older one. When I try to open the app, it also creates a new icon on my taskbar. This has happened around 4-5 times in the last year. Does any one have an idea what the problem might be? Thanks in advance!

I am trying to zoom in and out on a webpage JUST the elements. I DO NOT want the text to zoom in or out when I do this. I was able to do this within the last couple of days here, but cannot remember How I did so..

Hi, I've set in my settings to use the unified search+url bar, Also I've set Google as my search engine, but when I type a search request Firefox searchs by default an URL, leading to an error every time, I don't know what to change and Ive tried different settings with no change

I have 3 user accounts,Admin,Guest and Visitor.The Admin User account has updated successfully from version 113.0 to Version 120.0,the latest version.When I tried to update the Guest Account and the Visitor Account from version 113 to version 120 I got a notification "Firefox cannot update automatically,download the latest version"but I already have the latest version downloaded in the Admin account.When I checked in Programs there is one Firefox icon version 120.0 and two other icons 113.0.

I'm trying to sign in with google to the blogspot link below, but when I try to sign in it just resets the page and doesn't sign me in. Please help.

I got an email saying my account was going to be deleted in 48 hours because of spam coming from my address. They say I should hit a button to get virus protection. Could this be true or spam?

Why is when I leave multiple windows open with multiple open in the windows, the next I go to look for the window it's closed. Sometimes it happens when Windows updates, sometimes it doesn't.

Why I'm asking this question here is ridiculous! I never get an answer. Anybody else had a issue with this? Is there a Browser that doesn't do this, I'm fed with FireFox!!

Hi, I have a weird problem, I have 3 systems on my device: windows(10), ubuntu and Arch lately when i was configuring Firefox on fresh arch install I was annoyed that I needed to re-login to every single s...t again. So I thought "Why can I just share the same FF profile between systems" Long story short it didn't work on Arch. I was forced to compile FF from source and now it works... but when I'm logged in on Ubuntu and trying to launch FF from GNU I always see this error. it's working when i point out to profile from the command line with "-p <dir>". but even then when I go to about:profiles and click "launch in new browser" it's still pooping with this error. So Am I doing something wrong or it is just impossible to do this seamlessly? is there a better(correct?) way to achieve the same functionality?

EDIT: I have copied the profile's folder to a separate partition which is auto mounted tried it on Ubuntu (at this time it had been working just fine) and after using it on Arch when I was back on Ubuntu it was displaying this error
