Hi,

I've been getting a glitch while typing emails in Outlook Web Access for the last couple of days where superscript type in dates looks like the image attached. It was working fine until sometime this week. I've tried using Microsoft Edge and the issue doesn't happen so I'm thinking it might be browser specific.

I'm running Firefox Version 135.0.1 (aarch64) on a Mac Studio with Sequoia 15.3.1 (24D70).

I am looking for the folder a particular bookmark/web page is in. Steps I took: Open Bookmarks Manage bookmarks (which opens the Library) In the SEARCH box, I key in a search word, "intention" This brings up a list of possibilities, however it does not show me which folder the bookmark is in.

This does not work anymore and I get an edit drop down with copy, paste etc It works on Chrome and Safari. I checked the config for "browser.fixup.alternate.suffix" and it is set to .com.

Firefox has a feature where, if you select a tab and drag your cursor downwards while still pressing down on it, it will open that tab in a new window. Is there any way to disable this? I am frequently opening tabs in new windows when I'm just trying to view them and it drives me mad. I never use this feature intentionally- I am constantly using on accident due to quickly moving my cursor away from the tab bar to view the tab I just opened. Thank you.

I recently moved from Chrome to Firefox. When I use Firefox on Ubuntu 22.04, I can access my passwords freely. However, when I use it on macOS Monterey, it does not work. Page about:logins shows no logins and passwords but only a small little warning bar in the upper corner that says that I need to login with my OS password (see Secure Firefox passwords with device sign-in _{fixed link to kb article. aw}). However, when I click the small "Connexion" button in the notification bar, nothing happens. I have no pop-up/prompt, neither on the system nor on the web page, to allow me input my credentials. I tried after reinstalling Firefox on my Mac but nothing changed.

Do you know how this problem can be fixed? Thank you, and sorry if it is a duplicate.

please tell how how to turn off "battery drain" notifications on Mac IOS...it is annoying and there seems to be nothing to turn off when i search settings. (firefox version 109.0.1)

HI FIREFOX! Many websites are not readable. I can see these correctly in Safari. I tried getting the latest Firefox updates. It did not fix the issues. Bizarrely, I can paste into another application and read the gobblity gook. So I think it is just a font issue. I really do not want to go back to Safari. Poshmark and Fedex are the two websites I experienced issues with today. Fedex would not interact properly with Firefox but I could find my tracking information on Safari. I have had the problem previously but did not have time to look into it that day. 16" Macbook Max M1 running Monterey

Microsoft Excel is no longer listed i Applications as download option. All files downloaded automatically are stored as Microsoft Word files, not just excel files. I can change individual files manually to .xlsx which is a nuisance, but this also happens with Zip files (7Zip) and I am at a loss as to how to change them when they are downloaded as a Word document.

This does not happen on a newer MacBook Pro, but I need it to work with the older version. The older Mac is MacBook Pro 9.2 with MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.7 Firefox is version 103.0

Suddenly everytime I open Firefox a new Firefox icon appears on my desktop toolbar. if I open Firefox three times I'll have three new icons - as well as the alias Firefox icon I've had in the toolbar for years. No idea why this has begun to happen. How do I get this to stop? (I'm using a 2017 21.5 inch IMac with Big Sure OS.)

Since I upgraded my Mac Air to Firefox crashes on every site needing password since Mac upgrade to Ventura 13.3.1 entura 13.3.1 Firefox crashes every time on any site needing a password. I have got latest Firefox. I have uninstalled and re-installed. No change. Any ideas please?!

the activity monitor on my mac shows cpu usage at almost 100% when firefox is active. with safari cpu @ about 15% or less. seems to slow the mac considerably. how to fix?

Hi all, I'm having an issue that I've seen mentioned over several years and without a workable solution - I'm at the point of having to transfer all my browser usage to chrome and abandon my beloved firefox. The issue has been 'answered' by advanced users to tell people to 'inspect' which font is the issue then check local systems font book for corrupted/duplicate fonts: however this is not a satisfactory response. Context: see screen shot attached for what the jibberish looks like, and a point in the 'inspect' view that I believe (guessing) is involved. System: Firefox 112.0.2 (64-bit), MacOS 13.3.1 (a) (22E772610a) on Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2020, 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5). This same websites do not have any issue on the same computer viewed on Chrome or Safari. Nor is there any problem on my iPhone on the iOS firefox browser.

Firstly this is not a user-friendly solution for most people, I'm afraid. Opening the inspect viewer is mindboggling for anyone who doesn't code and even for people who do some programming but not for websites (like me), it isn't exactly self-explanatory. I think I've managing to find examples that indicate 'Roboto' seems to be consistently involved in the display issue. Secondly, the step for 'fixing' the font that is the culprit - my local system indicates that all fonts are valid and there are no duplicates. I haven't installed manually Roboto as I'm uncertain where to 'safely' get the font from and my computer is owned and managed by my workplace - with overly strict administration/security rules so if I f-up a download of something dodgy my IT service will blacklist me and revoke my admin access... ** which would mean I'd be unable to do my job!**. I wondered if perhaps there is some security setting due to that, which stops website from loading the fonts they choose? From previous 'solutions' it said that having Firefox preference set to "allow websites to choose their own fonts..." should mean the websites can load as needed. If indeed I must manually download fonts for each and every instance that Firefox fails to display text legibly that is equivalent to Firefox being unusable. I'm clearly frustrated and it's because I love FIrefox and the ethos behind it all so leaving for Chrome would be very sad indeed! Help and a solution for normal users would be so very much appreciated. Also where can I properly lodge this issue with peeps who fix things? There are issues of this kind going back years and for both Windows and Mac Systems so it's not a one-off problem but a recurring one! Hi, By accident I changed a setting somewhare and now I can't share screen when using Google meets. I use a MacBook Air M2 2022 and run version Ventura 13.4 and Firefox version 113.0.2. I have googled the problem and had help from Apple support so I have already; - checked settings in my Mac - checked settings in Google Meet - deleted cash memory in Firefox - rebooting my computor - run Google Meet in Safari and screen sharing works

I don't dare to reinstall Firefox because then I will lose lots of data. What have I not done that this community could help me understand.

Three days ago Firefox froze and wouldn't allow me to do anything. I quit and then Firefox would not open. Went back to Safari and download the latest version of Firefox, and installed it. It started by saying that Firefox was already running (it wasn't) so I forced it to quit. Installed and asked it to replace the existing version. Then I tried to run it and it told me that it was already running!!!

Short of deleting the whole application and starting again - losing bookmarks, passwords, etc. - what else can I do?

The type face on my iMac has gone super small. So small I can barely read it. How to I return the type face for all programs to a readable size?

I am guessing this is a settings issue, but I cannot find a solution. I cannot see the social sharing icons on my website when in Firefox on my Mac. I can see them in Safari. What's the deal?
