I am using the latest version of Firefox on Linux Mint. I've had some flash on opening issues that I've been unable to permanently prevent. Suddenly my adblock software is not working. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, different adblocks-no improvement. No extension software is showing on my toolbar and selecting the extensions software just brings up a suggested extensions.

What has happened to typing and viewing the content of the search INSIDE the Google search box? Why this does not work now and the search moves to the address bar where it is tight and one cannot see all content of the search? Why have you done this? How can I bring it back please? I hate is as is now.

I have recently (today) installed a device (Mini Wireless USB adapter) on my desktop computer. I am now connected to my ISP modem wirelessly. I have been using Firefox as my browser for many years (ten?) and have not had a problem until today. When I attempt to go to a web site I get a notice that says: "Unable to find the proxy server. Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that can't be found. Check the proxy settings to sure they are correct. Check to make sure your computer has a working network connection. If your computer or network is protected by firewall or proxy make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web."

I am able to get to any web site I choose when using another browser. I am also receiving my emails, and able to send emails. So I know the computer has a working network connection. When I have visited the Mozilla support site (having to use another browser) I see advice that shows opening the Settings page and getting to the Proxy settings. When I open my "Settings" page from the menu on the Firefox home page upper banner I do not see any option to get the Proxy settings. How do I access the Proxy settings page? Or how do I access the Firewall settings? Don't forget, I cannot open any web page from Firefox.

1) Firefox advertised free apps when you signed up for vpn. However, when I signed up for vpn, I didn't get any apps. Did I do something wrong? Why didn't I get the free apps? 2) I don't seem to be able to add the VPN two other computers. It seems to want to sell me (Again) the VPN. I don't want to buy it again, just add my existing VPN to other computers. 3) I have some Macs that run Parallel's. Do I need to add Firefox VPN do the Windows that is running on Mac. Or, does my Mac Firefox VPN somehow protect the windows without adding a separate VPN on windows?

HTTPS://SECURE.SSA.GOV open okay but when go to next page to SIGN-IN, Firefox is blocking it as following/below. What the heck is going on blocking SSA Sign-In after main Website is already open ?!?!?!?!?!

Acting on advice provided by the Computer Active magazine I have installed uBlock Origin in order to block adverts. I was advised to stop using Adblock Plus. Adblock plus had an icon which I could click to see if it was working. uBlock Origin doesn't seem to have any visible icon. The add ons manager indicates that uBlock Origin is the only enabled extension, but is it doing any advert blocking? Shouldn't there be a clickable icon?

Hello, I've got a reproduction issue on France TV live programs which I watch through nordvpn. The picture keeps "jumping" fast up and down in a very bothering way. This doesn't happen when the video is NOT live. I run the latest version of LINUX MINT. What can I do to fix it? The only way I found to stop the issue is to take down the resolution of the live video to its minimum which gives me a disastrous picture but stops the "jumping". I guess you might say there is something wrong with my GPU. The point is that my PC is brand new with an AMD 5600G, new MB, 16Gb of RAM and 500w of PSU. BUT more than anything I have to say that everything WORKS FINE with CHROME. I like FIREFOX I have been using it literally for decades now. (I'm 75). Is there a solution? recently got new hard disk installed , and using moyilla as browser ...previously i could shut down and get back to tabs and sites i was using on restart .... now i dont have that view and just get a long list on recently used tabs in toolbar,mozilla icon. How can i get those closed webpages, sites, back on screen all at once ? the history optionin side menu doesnt show any way to do this either...( i think it used to ) thanks calgar.

Starting with Firefox v115, you had to set layout.css.page-size.enabled to false in about:config to get the page orientation back for printing PDFs (i.e. Portrait or Landscape).

It seems with the release of v119, this once again is broken and the layout.css.page-size.enabled setting no longer works. Is there something else that needs to be done now? We rely heavily on this and our current workaround is installing the ESR version of Firefox but seems like it'll catch up eventually.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any issues with FireFox with WhatsApp web or sonthing else

I want to get rid of that url bar that pops up on the left bottom of the screen when you hover over a bookmark, a link on a page, a video... anything that leads to another web address. It disappears when you hover over it and changes to the right bottom of the screen. It appears when i'm trying to watch videos on sites when i'm in full screen and refuses to go away. I've tried the chrome folder solution posted here and it doesn't work. I've tried many other solutions online and they don't work either.

A few of the things that were supposed to be labeled as they were in the solution were not available on my new version of FF but I found the correct folder to post the chrome folder in regardless. The box to open the profile folder was further down and labeled differently than in the instructions posted from a year or more ago here.

I'm using a fresh install of windows 11 and the latest version of Fire Fox 115.0.2 64bit

This just started happening today When I try to sign in to my comcast email account from my desktop shortcut I get Peer's Certification has been revoked Error Code sec_error_revoked_certificate if I go to my bookmarks I can sign on????? My wife has a seperate sign in on windows 10 and the same thing is now happening to her, never happened before today

The people who asked this question 3 years ago were given a "chosen solution", which didn't work then. And 3 years later the underlying problem is still not fixed. Last week I tried a new solution which meant messing around with the Firefox settings. And it worked - until the next time I restarted the computer.

I copy and paste in many of my activities, which interact with external websites e.g. discussion groups. The current frustration is a discussion about Adobe, which means copying text from one window to another. It does not happen. Unless this is permanently sorted in the next couple of days, regretfully I shall switch to a workable browser, e.g. Chrome. I cannot afford the waste of time repeatedly researching then not fixing a failing feature.
