Intermittently and without obvious pattern, Firefox stops responding and, after being closed via task manager, will not reopen unless I restart my computer.
Firefox 5 stops responding after I use it for awhile. Once I close it through the task manager, it refuses to reopen and I am forced to restart my computer to get Firefox to work again.
Note: This problem also occurred in Firefox 3 before I updated.

Try running Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.
