When importing bookmarks they end up in Bookmarks Menu, cannot move to Other Bookmarks

I am trying to migrate from a windows 10 computer to a Windows 11 computer. I have installed Firefox on the new computer. I exported my bookmarks from the windows 10 computer to a HTML file. I then imported them to the Windows 11 computer. I thought the import hadn't worked but finally found them Bookmarks Menu folder under Other Bookmarks. When I tried to move them to the Other Bookmarks folder Firefox wouldn't allow it. I finally went to the Other Bookmarks folder in Bookmarks Menu and selected all the files there, and copied them to the clipboard. Since the Other Bookmarks folder was no longer available in the left column, I closed Library and opened a new Library. I then pasted the files I had stored into Other Bookmarks. That seemed to work. However, when I click Other Bookmarks in the upper right hand corner of Firefox all the files there have the wire frame globe for icons and don't work. If I go to the Other Bookmarks folder in Bookmarks, those bookmarks still work. The bookmarks aren't of much use if I can't access them from Firefox. I am writing this on my Windows 10 computer but both computers have the same version of Firefox.

I should have mentioned before that the reason I used the clipboard to copy bookmarks from Bookmarks Menu>Other Bookmarks to All Bookmarks>Other Bookmarks was because Firefox would not let me drag the bookmarks there. So I tried to use Copy and Paste but got all the strange effects I listed before. So I tried it again tonight and it seems to have worked. I must have done something differently but I don't know what it is. Anyway, I think I have solved my problem.
