I cannot log in Firefox account. It says I have to log out to log into my account. All I wanted to do is to remove a phone I reset and gave away from my Firefox device logins, but everything quit working with all the AI chaos.

I set the about:config settings when I got the new computer early last year. It's been working fine. Suddenly, searches are popping up again to the urlbar.

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar is still set to false. Keyword.enabled is still set to false.

I see a couple of site references to browser.fixup.alternate.enabled, but it doesn't exist.

How do I get FF back to proper search in the search bar?

I am currently unable to clear my browsing history, this started about a week ago. I had done it that morning but after lunch I was able to . I note that library is showing history going back to Dec last.

Saving a bookmark to a specific folder has never worked in Firefox. Never!

Add bookmark > Location > Choose > search the specific folder > the scrollbar does not move down!

You can search (browse) the specific folder with the scroll wheel of the mouse, with the arrow key of the keyboard, you can slide the scrollbar up and down with the *very small* arrows on the scrollbar, but you cannot slide the scrollbar with the most essential and easiest way by moving it up and down with the mouse. By that I mean: clicking the scrollbar with the left mouse button and move it down and up.

THIS HAS NEVER WORKED IN FIREFOX. It works just randomly. Sometimes very rarely it works, usually it doesn't work. Why is that?

There was a recent update from Firefox, I began setting up a new profile but didn't want to continue. Now, almost no websites will download, nothing but tab crashed and it won't restore.

Recently when starting the browser I've seen that Microsoft Defender blocks requests to one of my homepage shortcuts, due to it finding the URL suspicious. My question is as the title suggests: does Firefox ping the URLs or fetch metadata of said domains automatically/in the background to update the icons, website title, etc? It is always suspicious to find Microsoft Defender stating it blocks request to websites I haven't accessed in a while. So I'm trying to deduce if it is a feature and not a ghost in the wires...

My home desktop computer is asking for a network login to access the internet today, after FireFox crashed. I do not see anywhere to login. Please help. I have a Mini Mac. I am at a library as my internet is not working.

Why was it done? Is there a setting I can change so I can see them work as animated favicons? Will you change this on your next update? Otherwise, I am going to have to roll-back the version.

When I try to full screen any streaming site on Firefox I can see the desktop on the edges, the video isn't fully centered on the screen. I have tried updating Firefox, my drivers, restarting my computer and even checking to make sure the resolution and aspect ration were good. Is there maybe an issue or bug I can try and resetting with a setting on the browser?

I had to install a new OS disk. So, I created an account, and made a synchronization. Then, I made a security backup. When I installed the SO and Firefox, I logged in to sync. As soon as I logged, it automatically started to sync the random tiles it had after install. So, I had to use the places.sqlite and favicon.sqlite files. It got me half the tiles, and even those were misplaced. So, I had to go for the security html, and I finally got everything I wanted. But, now it says the account is not associated. If I login to associate it, when I shut down the PC, it returns to those half tiles, and out of order.

How can I get this right?

If I delete my history of the websites I go on or delete my emails in which I use Yahoo and Gmail is there a way to save them in case I need some information from them in the future? Another words, they may be deleted in my history and I delete my emails in which i delete them also from my trash folder can I store them someone else that will let me see them in the future? Thanks

Since ages ago I've always logged into Firefox and turned on sync so whichever device I was on (or if I have formatted my PC) I would still have acces to my browser history, tabs etc. Today I've formatted my PC to switch from win 10 to win 11 and logged into firefox as usual, but after trying to Sync nothing happens. My tabs, my history, everything is empty for some reason and I cannot find my original device (the one from a few hours ago connected in win 10) in my connected devices list either.

Please help me, my whole life is in that sync :(
