If I reconnect a logged-out account, and sync it, will the settings on one device override the other?

On my personal computer, I have a Profile for work and I was logged in via a Mozilla account using my work email address I've recently set up a similar thing on my work computer. Signed in using Mozilla account. I have since noticed that on my personal computer it says "Account disconnected." I'd like to sign in again and sync them so that I always see the same settings, shortcuts, open tabs etc on both computers. But if I sign in right now, will I lose the customizations I've made on the work computer? Which computer will it consider to be the "source" of the newly synced information?
