So it looks like the cookies you may have saved that had login details may have been wiped.
Do you keep backups of your profiles so that you can reinstall them ....
Hi Amoun no I didn't touch any cookies - and I checked and made sure that the cache was emptied before having to re-open all my gmail accounts and their security elements.
It's just extremely irritating that I've had to re-open with password 3 email accounts and my add-ons which also require password verification because of this update.
Yes a real pain.
I have read about this a few times, but luckily not happened to me yet.
But clearly an idea to keep a backup
All the best
Yes it is a pain - and then I realised that my 'default' search engine had also been changed.. As I use different laptops I haven't done a backup. have a good day
I have a query about SYNC
I noticed it was automatically on and wondered if Fx on one device was interfering with Fx on another.
I must find out what the SYNC does as I don't want one device overriding another. So have disabled it to test some issues.
Luckily nothing serious yet
All the best
I have backups on my Windows and my Raspberry PI
I will have to check with my other laptops regarding sync. - I'm not 100% that happens! . As this is an older laptop and uses Windows it's slower than the newer Mac.
I spent too much of the last few years of my life frantically doing back ups for Windows and everything on the windows laptop as their update messed up a 6 months old laptop and then there was that lovely discover that Windows backups means your documents are on a cloud and not on the laptop : after all that just switched to a Mac.. I only use the windows laptop as a backup for music etc.
best of luck too
