I tried the firefox VPN. I Followed the instructions at:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/built-in-vpn#w_are-any-websites-excluded-from-vpn-protection

But no 'VPN' button appears when I sign in (I am in a valid country and was told about the VPN by my browsers update). I have tried restarting and checking the toolbar, but the VPN button that is supposed to be there is not.

The Firefox built-in VPN is offered in stages to users in the U.S., U.K., Germany and France (starting with version Firefox version 149), and Canada starting in Firefox version 150. It may not be available to you yet, even if you’re in one of these locales, as the staged rollout takes time to reach everyone.

If the built-in VPN is available, you would see a VPN icon in the top-right corner of the toolbar, that opens a prompt to turn on the VPN. You would also need to sign in to a Mozilla account. For more infomation, see the Use built-in VPN in Firefox article.

If you wish, you can post your feedback about the Firefox built-in VPN to the Mozilla Connect thread.

I am in one of those countries and am signed into my account. I was informed of this VPN's avaliability by the browser itself, therefore I assume that it would not have told me the VPN was avaliable for me if it was not, and yet no VPN button appears for me.

Hi, unfortunately, the "What's New" page wasn't personalized, and just included a general VPN advertisement that everyone saw.

So, if you don't see the VPN icon, it's most likely not available to you yet. If you want to dig into it, please go to about:studies (just enter this in the address bar and press Enter) and tell us what VPN-related active studies you see there.

Hey Dunn,

Apparently, there was an issue with the rollout so users in those countries weren't getting the feature. Can you confirm if you have access to this feature by now? If not, can you let us know which country are you based?
