how can I tell firefox that my computer has been upgraded to windows 11.
When I tried to install intuit turbotax it could not install because it kept saying that I have windows 8 or 10 and would not install. When I try to go to Costco it tell me :You don't have permission to access "http://signin.costco.com/e0714dd4-784d-46d6-a278-3e29553483eb/B2C_1A_SSO_WCS_signup_signin_201/oauth2/v2.0/authorize?" on this server.

Yes I agree that you are likely for some reason running Firefox in Windows 8 compatibility mode.
The UserAgent you used to post with is Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0 as NT 6.2 is Windows 8.

Afterwards if you were to check for updates you will likely get served Firefox 140.8.0esr and not the Firefox 148.0 Release. You can get the Firefox 148.0 Release at https://www.firefox.com/download/all/ though make sure you are not running Firefox win Windows 8 compatibility mode first.

Open the Properties of your Firefox shortcut from the right-click context menu. Check the Compatibility tab and make sure that the compatibility mode option is not selected.

Thank you all for helping me. I did all as recommend and now everything seems to work. Yes it was set for windows 8 compatibility, I also down loaded the new Firefox 148.0 release. I rebooted the computer and all seem great. I didn't want to lose Firefox. Thanks, Norman
