Missing/deleted bookmarks
I did my monthly Norton 360 system scans and updates last night, and maybe it is coincidence, but all of my Firefox bookmarks are now missing, and there is no browsing History showing. I have tried the import/restore steps but each date I try to restore from I get an error message - "Unable to process the backup file".

Was Firefox among the updates? If so, it may have created a new profile along the way- bumping into Norton sounds like a possibility. Try typing about:profiles in the url bar. This should bring up your profiles. If you have two, one should hold the missing data. See this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-user-data-missing-after-firefox-update
There was only one profile. I tried to recover from an old profile via the link in the article, but that didn't work either. I'll likely just take it into a computer repair business on Monday. Frustrating.
