does Firefox no longer support sites like The Guardian, like the Atlantic, other news outlets. it never lets me sign in but returns to the home page after signing in with email and password. What do I do?

Did you try clearing the browser cache? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache# When you click on sign in, pay attention to what's showing in the bottom left of the browser. Sounds like something is being blocked. Also try turning off ETP. see screenshot
