It only works if the Firefox actually crashes or closed abruptly like powering off the PC. But doesn't stop it's restoring when done this way. </blockquote> I assume that ''browser.startup.page'' is set to 1 (start up with home page) or 0 (start up with blank page) and not to 3 (restore previous session) or 2 (restore last tab). You can experiment with that setting and see whether it makes any difference.
