Firefox version - 37.0.1 OS - windows 7 64bit addons - only adblock plus, but disabled on the gmail.com I have this problem since a few months ago.
So i have gmail on a pinned tab. Sometimes when i start the browser, it's not loading the gmail. I get the loading bar, which not begin to fill up. Down on this page i have a link if i want to load the basic html page. If i click on this, the basic html page loads, and if i click on this page to load the normal, default page, it's load normally. If i don't do this, but only press the refresh button, is not help. If i close the browser and open again, usually still wrong. But this thing doesnt happen every time. The gmail usually load ok. I would say, its wrong 2 times from 10, then i click basic-html, then normal, and its alright.
To solve this problem, i uninstalled the Firefox, and deleted the Firefox folders from the appdata local and roaming, downloaded a new version and installed from scratch. I still get this problem. Sometimes.
I dont have antivirus, proxy, firewall, internet security software.
I searched on the internet, and i see others have same problem too, but i didnt found solution. I dont use any addons, other than adblock plus, but i set to dont activate on gmail, and its button is greyed out.
There is a settings to prevent this behaviour, or this is a bug and can hope for a fix?

Recently in this week, when I open up Firefox, it automatically opens up a new tab and loads Bing. It originally only loads up my previous tabs, and only activates the one I was showing last time. It still does pretty much the same thing, with the one I was reading on my last visit activated, but it then opens up Bing. I didn't pay attention to it the first time, just got suspicious since I never used Bing(kinda hate M$ to begin with) so that wouldn't be my last site visited. I did checked and it is the real Bing and not a phishing site of a virus, and simply closed the tab. I started to get annoyed by the third time, so I got into about:config and deleted all the results that returned Bing. Just two of those and none seems to matter at all to my current situation. I made sure that google is my only search provider, closed the browser and restarted it, Bing didn't pop up that time so I thought I'm fine. But the next day, same thing happened again, and don't have any results in about:config with Bing. My homepage is a blank page, and my new tab page is the Firefox default one(with google and some of the sites I pinned. I have some plug-ins and add-on installed, but none are related to Bing, and I installed all of them quite long ago, so it doesn't seem to be a recent plugin that screwed me. And no, I am not stupid enough to have Bing bar installed and not noticed it.
I did a search in my about:support page, and it returned no "Bing" results, and the "Search" results returned 2, Tineye and google scholar. The only Microsoft addons I have is sharepoint and lync.
This thread on the forum, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1038882, seems to be the closest to my situation, but none of the anwsers helped. If I open another Firefox window, it goes to the Firefox start page.
Thank you in advance to anyone who tries to solve this problem.

In Firefox 37.0.2, I have 5 pinned tabs plus other regular tabs open. Gmail is logged in and open in a pinned tab. I close FF. Open FF.
The pinned Gmail tab on the furthest to the left is now on a sign-in screen.
In Gmail, I left click the "Sign in" link (to the left of the blue "Create an account" button) and a regular tab opens. For me, normally center click opens a webpage in a new tab, not left click. Left click normally opens a page in the same tab.
In the "One account. All of Google" page, I sign into Gmail and have to repin the tab and move it where I want it.
I do not have any Google "accounts" set up, nor is "Stay signed in" check marked. If that is check marked, I get the stupid Google account runaround, which I don't want.
Then I have to unpin the pinned Gmail tab that's not logged in.
I didn't always work like this. For about a few months, whenever I restarted Firefox, the Gmail pinned tab was already logged in. I don't want to have to always log back into Gmail and pin the tab each time.
I do not have 2-step verification in Gmail.
In Chrome, this isn't a problem. FF is using Tab Mix Plus options.
Will somebody tell me how to fix it?
