Sometimes the typing in forms lag. I will type then characters will be missing and/or very slow to show up. I refresh Firefox through Troubleshooting Information which seem to help, but the problem starts back up again after a short while.

This problem does not happen in other browsers or when I bring up notepad up.

I am going to test this out when the problem starts back again. For now, typing is fine in all sites since I refreshed.

Is this one many websites, some, a few? Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there? https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Firefox+is+already+running+but+is+not+responding https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-slow-how-make-it-faster https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-uses-too-many-cpu-resources-how-fix https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-uses-too-much-memory-ram https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-hangs-or-not-responding

The problem happens in different sites. It started happening now and the safe mode fixed it, but I have done the safe mode in the past. The problem just comes back again.

It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or it could be Hardware Acceleration. How to disable Hardware Acceleration {web link}

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All Of them.

If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.

Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is, detective.

Could be a problem with other software that is preventing Firefox from update the sessionstore files.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

Did all this previously, but I went through the steps again. So far so good, since the "restart with add-ons disabled." Will keep ya'll posted. Thanks.
